I haven't been specific because I haven't read whole document myself I found I think 3 things which I found strange. The judge dismissing 2 people witnessing amber throw up in car park one of them her driver and said reason was because he must have mistaken her for her sister?!and then further down says he discount another witness because she lied and said amber had eating disorder because she doesn't ( however on the nurses notes she says she did) and another time just saying johnny abused amber because he said he just had Marijuana but other times he says he had cocaine and drink so he must have done that then!? It just sounds off.

And another reason I remember ur comments from other thread and u were condescending then and to be honest i really couldn't be bother so I suggested everyone else read it and come to their own opnion.

Disagreeing with you is not the same as being condescending. HTH.

And how do ANY of those examples show that JD didn’t abuse her?

Here is the FULL video.
She sold the link you shared, to TMZ in 2016. She wanted everyone to think she was harmed after he snatched the phone. The Sun lawyers played it countless times in the UK trial.
Johnny's lawyers played this full clip in his closing statement in the UK.
This version is extremely interesting. Its not a wonder why those last few seconds were edited out. I really like the "hehe" from her along with a completely uninjured face, as he leaves the room like he always did.

I don’t actually see how saying “huh” is so bad or proves anything? Is she meant to weep and wail? This reveals nothing we don’t already know - he had a violent strop and threw her phone across the room. Was there a mic drop moment I missed?

And believe it or not, but a few extra seconds of a video doesn’t prove he didn’t attack her. Do you think it all ended at that moment?

jesus the total desperation people have to defend a wife beater is totally embarrassing.

@MarshaBradyo there are many, many options that other countries use successfully, such as a ruling from a judge

Just one judge? Do you trust they do not need the jury too

btw do you mean for all trials that usually have juries or just sexual abuse / violence cases?

@MarshaBradyo I was referring to Julie Bindel’s argument that low conviction rates for sec crimes is linked to biased juries.

One judge (some countries have more making decision) has a hell of a lot more insight and experience into the law than 12 regular Joes put together. People are not selected for jury duty based on their intelligence or excellent logical skills (though it did used to be men only and professionals only), it’s a system that centuries old, the principle of which was to give the general public a day in the justice system. Which is great, in theory, if it works - but too often it doesn’t.

People shouldn't instantly believe AH because she is a woman. Yes some men abuse women but some women abuse men and female abusers are the ones who are letting women down. They are the ones causing the doubt.
Saying 'women can be' isn't the same as saying 'all women are'. Saying women can be like this is the truth, saying men can be abusers is the truth. Its not all men and its not all women.

I don't believe her because she's a woman. I believe her because a judge has listened to all of this before and found that JD was abusive.

Same. I believe a lot of what he says too although those of us who know what addiction does to a person, there’s so few memories the next day of what happened and lots of righteousness and denials about their behaviour. so I don’t believe everything he says based on the fact he’s an addict, his addiction peaked in their marriage it seems and he just will not have the infalliable memory and kind nature he likes us to think he had.

youvegottenminuteslynn · 07/05/2022 15:41

So @BigFatLiar, who stated as fact there is a clip of AH 'practicing crying and breaking down' prior to the trial, hasn't produced the clip? And nobody else has either?

So does it exist or not? If you're going to state things as fact, saying there's evidence of them, probably best to share that evidence.

Or it looks like a lie.

PlasticineMeg · 07/05/2022 15:42

@DressingGownofDoom I think it’s supposed to prove she said “Huh”. Which of course means she couldn’t possibly have ever been a victim of abuse, even though that very video shows some pretty nasty abuse.

Victims are supposed to be quiet and pliant and timid and wailing, they are NOT supposed to answer back or make snide remarks in the face of violence, especially women, because we will take their victim badge off them.

if it’s just sexual violence trials because they have low conviction rate then one issue might be the high bar for conviction - eg beyond reasonable doubt

If the evidence meets that I can’t see the public is so low intelligence not to get the facts

The argument for bias maybe - but I don’t really go with ideas that the public cannot judge the facts

It’s an interesting topic though, be good to hear someone who works in the law and their take

Of course there isn’t a clip. The sycophants would have posted it all over social media by now. It would be in the news.

There are seemingly some people working REALLY hard to spread rumours about this trial. A social media claim that she copied a speech from a movie when on the stand has been debunked today. Some weirdos are dedicating a lot of time to circulating rumours, and I’m afraid the thickos are falling for it and passing it on before fact checking.

This truly is the age of fake news.

Ah yes of course. What a cow, not allowing him to get on with smashing up the house and her phone in a drunken rage without videoing him.

The fact that she's not breaking down crying etc at the end of the video just cements to me even more that that was JDs usual behaviour. If that was the first time your husband acted like that you'd be really scared, if it were the 50th - from my experience I know I'd act like AH - here we go again. Pissed off but basically desensitised. Obviously everyone is different but it is entirely possible for her to act that way and still be a victim of DV.

PlasticineMeg · 07/05/2022 15:47

@MarshaBradyo it’s a very interesting topic and I encourage you to read the Julie Bindel piece. I’m not entirely sure what my stance is on trials by jury and if they’re future proof. It’s a very draconian practice that maybe doesn’t belong in the modern world. But happy to admit that I don’t know enough about either argument to have formed a solid opinion. But certainly a interesting topic!

youvegottenminuteslynn · 07/05/2022 15:48

It's like the "she quoted The Talented Mr Ripley word for word" which went viral and was then shown to be false. Someone mocked up a side by side transcript of the script and her testimony.

And despite her testimony being on video and uncut, people still spread the lie rather than checking it.

Unreal.

PlasticineMeg · 07/05/2022 15:49

I’ve just googled various versions of ‘amber heard rehearses crying’ and nothing is coming up. You think a video like that would be everywhere.

I don't believe her because she's a woman. I believe her because a judge has listened to all of this before and found that JD was abusive.

Given all the things that judge believed to be true that we know are not true, I don't trust her ability to assess evidence.

Yep. Somebody’s ability to make a meme doesn’t make them right. She said something entirely different to the Mr Ripley quote. What a bunch of total losers who did that!

PlasticineMeg · 07/05/2022 15:58

This person is claiming that AH ‘stole her lines’ from the Talented Mr Ripley and here is the proof, showing her testimony and the movie side by side. twitter.com/armastrangelo/status/1522300757466353672?s=21&t=_BUTCyMT-zsCGJZsMehzMg

I mean aside from them being words in the y language, there is absolutely no similarities and this is the pathetic desperation of Team Depp to make her look like she’s playing a part. They need to get a hobby

And the lengths you'll go to to defend this conniving woman is even more tragic. How many pages have you been prattling on for now?

More proof she copies movie quotes including “What happened here”.

I mean nobody EVER said that before the Shrek movie, and nobody ever had a reason to say it since unless they’re quoting Shrek.

Next she’ll be saying things like “Hello” which is obviously a word from Jerry Maguire and all this proves she a lying bitch and JD is a sweet funny geezer, just like my crush Jack Sparrow, and all he ever did was be amazing towards her.

For as long as it takes for the people to realise that she was abused, and her being abusive back doesn’t cancel out what he did.

I’ll always defend victims of abuse who have proven their case but are being disbelieved because people think their abuser is such a swell guy. I’ll always put it right when people who have no clue what addiction does to a person and how awful it makes them.

And I STILL am waiting for people to tell me that if it was Kev from drunk who works in Tesco who did what JD did, would you still defend him and believe he wasn’t abusive?

I do wish people would just admit they’re holding him to a low standard either because he’s a man or because he’s famous. It’s the self denial that I find frustrating. I would have far more respect if people just admitted they have a hard time finding a beloved movie star to be a monster.

@Midlifemusings Thank you for sharing. I found it very difficult to understand. This audio is of the incident where Amber described significant physical injuries & cuts all over her body from being dragged across broken glass and having sexually assaulted yet no one present seemed to be aware of these injuries. If she was bleeding and cut everywhere surely they would have been getting her to hospital as well, no? Curious if this audio submitted as evidence for the trial..

I don t believe this audio was submitted for trial. Much of it is inadmissiable as it contains the voice of Jerry Judge who has since died and therefore can't testify to what was said / done.

OnlyHippyInTheVillage · 07/05/2022 16:21

Actually, he's suing her for $50,000,000. She is counter suing him for $100,000,000
