Anyone watching Amber heard take the stand?

Really not sure what to think tbh.

There is a lot of well timed pauses, sighs and stuttering,
it feels incredibly scripted.

I believe her - I don’t like her. But as a victim of abuse you do
push. You cry, you yell, you mirror but this is age old - women are hysterical. They have ripped apart her sex life but not his. Etc

I will wait for cross examination. I just don't know really. The fact that she lied about her donations to charity didn't sit to well with me but we will see how she explains that.

I do feel wrong commenting on appearance and she shouldn’t be judged by it but it’s striking how harsh she appears

i guess that could be read as unpleasantness or it could be defensive if she’s telling the truth. It’s more of an observation than judgement if makes sense

Immediately thought it too. She has taken off alot of make up, mussed her hair up even more and made herself loom as young and vulnerable as possible. IMO

I thought she was going for grooming tactic at the beginning.

I dont believe her either and I am a woman going through similar IYSWIM. She makes me angry tbh. I dont like JD but I believe him, so far...

Yes, but I expect she will have been well prepped and she'll have gone over what she's going to say. The cross examination will be interesting!

So many studies have show that it’s impossible even for people well practiced in trying cases, experienced judges to tell if someone is telling lies or not.

JD was far more believable than she has been so far but waiting to see how it plays out this week

Maybe he's more believable because he's just a better actor...

He has been trying to charm the jury throughout. He has been acting his socks off and he's a very good actor so he can play any role brilliantly.
I'm not sure I like either of them but her story seems more plausible to me and I totally believe that he is a drug addict alcoholic who probably was awful when drunk/on drugs, but charming and loving and apologetic when sober.
I think he is an abuser and sadly I will never see him the same again.

As a victim myself I really wanted to believe her.

i thought at best it was going to be a mutually abusive toxic relationship.

this trial has not painted her well but I was still trying to be open minded.

but her testimony is so fake.

For those commenting on her appearance, I've always found that going through traumatic life events do take their toll on how someone looks. Whether she's telling the truth or not, the last few years will have been incredibly stressful. Just look at all the public hate she's been getting for example. That has to be hard.
She was incredibly beautiful when she got together with Johnny. She was only 22 then though. Looks do change. Johnny is certainly no oil painting now. 😂

I don’t doubt for a second he was a terrible partner, verbally abusive and an addict.

but I think the fact all of his previous partners defend him and are adamant his is not violent says more for his believably than AH who’s had none of her ex partners defend her.

She's seems to have toned it down this part obviously had a talking to by her lawyers.

I totally get that but just compare her appearance yesterday to her appearance today and note the difference.

Shes beautiful! I am saying precisely, that today, after lunch she has made herself look rough! With the scruffiest hair to date.

No idea, nor do I care what she looked like at 22.

She is perfectly aware she needs to look distressed while telling this well rehearsed (audition for a new film), story.

JDs lawyer looks non plussed, certainly not worried.

This woman has one mission and one mission only, to bring down JD.

Some people just shouldnt be together. They are so consumed by love, lust and jealousy. Very toxic relationship.

Johnny's been treating this like some game, drawing pictures in court? Seriously? Laughing and joking? Then Amber finally comes on to tell her side and a lot of the live comments are it's scripted or she's stumbling. She can't win whatever she does. We are back to judging the potential victim for not behaving in a stereotyped pre approved way. People forget if this is true she's suffered horrendously. Johnny has clearly been a serious drug and alcohol addict, that alone makes me inclined to believe he has had black outs and rages. Potentially the world is treating a sex abuse victim horrendously. I almost hope she is lying.

His drawing pictures are a way for him to cope with his anxiety from what I have read...
