Usually the doozer but I use doozer to mean whatever it is I may need at any given point in time. Usually the other person looks over, sees what I am missing and figures out what I mean.

When my daughter lived at home it was the comote rontrol because that's how she said it.

The remote. Although, do remember the good old days when had to get off your bum and change channel on the TV, with your finger! Being the kid, I usually got given that job.
