At my parents house, it was always ‘ the wand’.

My husband and I still call it the Mote Troll… hangover from the toddler years!

The blib as that was the noise they made when you pressed the buttons when they first came out.
It was attached to a wire trailing across the room and had 2 buttons, one for volume and one to scroll through the only 4 channels that existed.

neerg · 24/05/2022 08:07

The 'mote'.
The clicker
The changer of the channels.

neerg · 24/05/2022 08:07

I love all these different names!!!!

Schulte · 24/05/2022 08:21

I think ours is called ‘Oh FFS’ (but said in full) because the back always falls off.

BrandNewBicep · 24/05/2022 08:30

The doodah.

GoldenPineapple88 · 24/05/2022 08:49

The buttons. I've never heard it referred to as anything else! 😂

Elderflower14 · 24/05/2022 09:40

Hoofer Doofer... (Too much Telly Addicts with Noel Edmonds in the 80s!!🤣 🤣)

Hallowbat · 24/05/2022 09:42

Remote

Chubarubrub · 24/05/2022 09:43

‘Remote’
Although my Cornish DF calls it a ‘dibber.’

Lovingtheglitter · 24/05/2022 09:55
