Not been paid yet

MuthaHubbard · 22/04/2022 07:03

What pay? My monthly salary isn't paid until last working day of the month

00100001 · 22/04/2022 07:03

Eh?

MintJulia · 22/04/2022 07:04

I don't get paid until the end of the month.

And to be honest, after being made redundant during covid, I'm still feeling relieved that there is a pay packet to grumble about. 😊 Give me another year ....

Overthebow · 22/04/2022 07:07

Do you mean because of the NI rises? Or something else?

icklekid · 22/04/2022 07:07

My national insurance contribution has gone up in April pay is that what you mean?

Waxonwaxoff0 · 22/04/2022 07:09

NI rises?

I don't get paid until next Friday, ours is the last Friday of the month.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 22/04/2022 07:11

Not paid until the last working day of the month.

MrsMigginsCat · 22/04/2022 07:12

Not been paid yet - we get paid on the last working day of the month. I've just had a pay rise though and have plugged the figures into The Take Home Pay Calculator site so know I will be £80 better off next week, then £100 better off in July.

LadyCatStark · 22/04/2022 07:13

DH gets paid today. He’s got a 5% pay rise but £100 less in the bank. FML how are we meant to pay all the rising bills with less money?

AthenaWhite · 22/04/2022 07:17

I'm a TA. I work 10 hours unpaid overtime each week and get paid in peanuts. I'm always disappointed on payday...😂

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 22/04/2022 07:24

Had a 750 quid a year rise and I am getting 15 quid less a month now 🙄

FrecklesMalone · 22/04/2022 07:26

I got less. I hate this government. We will be OK as earn slightly above the national average wage. 8 am so worried about people on average income or below. It is going to be a shit period for them. The idea that the Tories look after our economy has to be the biggest lie of all time.

LadyCatStark · 22/04/2022 07:30

Oh and we’re not mildly disappointed, we’re furious and dis pairing. We need that money, we don’t need it taken off us to give to someone else.

Shinyandnew1 · 22/04/2022 07:32

Well, lucky you to get a pay rise in July-lots of us won’t!

TweetTweetMF · 22/04/2022 07:33

I don't think it goes up in July? It's not till next year that the taxes and NI will decrease.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 22/04/2022 07:33

i believe so, if you are on low pay it will go up in July?

MrsLargeEmbodied · 22/04/2022 07:33

am i misunderstanding?

Work in public sector. I dont know what a payrise is. I am very very worried about the increase in everything though the only thing I can cut back on is netflix and considering we never go out anywhere I'm trying to hang on to it

QuiltedHippo · 22/04/2022 07:38

Both DH and I get paid today, I should have switched from mat pay to holiday pay so hopefully it doesn't feel so bad in comparison.

MrsLargeEmbodied · 22/04/2022 07:39

in fact it looks to me that unless you are on £50,000 per year, your NI will go down in July
