For me it has to be jack monroe. She spends all her time showing people how to eat on a budget. Amazing thread this morning where she does a whole weeks worth of food for 37p a meal! Imagine if she was in government

@xedise952 I think you might need to do some research on JM- she might be able to cook a frugal meal, but she has some, um, quirks.

LynetteScavo · 19/04/2022 18:54

I'm about to feed 6 adults for less than £4, (veggie spaghetti Bolognese) and that's with loads of mozzarella. And I would be a crap prime mister.

secretsqizzle · 19/04/2022 18:56

Andy Burnham

Or if he could be persuaded back into politics

David Miliband

It's a bit like saying some bloke who runs a Catholic homeless shelter would make a fantastic pope.

Why do you think JK Rowling wouldn’t be a good Prime Minister OP? I don’t think you’ve explained, just asked if it was a joke.

DentonsFringeArnottsWaistcoat · 19/04/2022 18:59

@Comedycook

I actually think Michael Portillo would have been a great prime minister
Not back then, but definitely now. He seems to be a good, decent and honest man. And his double act on This Week with Alan Johnson was like a political dream team.

Neither working class nor a hero. Is this a joke thread?

£20 shops which including no cleaning stuff, pet food, sanitary products etc only help the Tory’s believe that poor people get too much. Using that shop to make extremely low calorie food is hugely dangerous.

Hugh Grant can definitely be in my cabinet!

Marilla1966 · 19/04/2022 19:11

David Milliband

SirChenjins · 19/04/2022 19:11

Ruth Davidson (if she wasn’t a Tory)

JKR

Marcus Rashford

Ooh agree with
Martin Lewis
JK Rowling

ineedsun · 19/04/2022 19:16

Barack and / or Michelle Obama - I know they can’t really but you did say ‘dream’

DoggoShark · 19/04/2022 19:16

What has JK Rowling said that is anti trans? I’d be interested in seeing it, could you copy and paste quotes? I’ve heard people say it before but they can never actually give a direct quote of something that she’s said or written that’s transphobic.

ThatshallotBaby · 19/04/2022 19:17

David Attenborough.

He’d sort it out.

Maireas · 19/04/2022 19:17

Tracy Ann Oberman
Kirsty Wark
Mike Wozniak

Neverreturntoathread · 19/04/2022 19:19

Joanne Rowling. Super brainy, doesn’t take any shit or give into bullies, said no to meeting the Queen so she could watch her daughter’s nativity play… She’d be amazing.

undermilkjug · 19/04/2022 19:20

Patrick Stewart.

Or Rory Stewart. Either would do.

Possibly at a pinch Rod Stewart.
