For me it has to be jack monroe. She spends all her time showing people how to eat on a budget. Amazing thread this morning where she does a whole weeks worth of food for 37p a meal! Imagine if she was in government

OP posts:

Maybe Marcus Rashford could have a role in Education or Levelling Up.

CorvusPurpureus · 19/04/2022 15:14

Definitely JKR.

Archersandlemonade · 19/04/2022 15:20

Martin lewis

StrongerOrWeaker · 19/04/2022 15:26

Zelenskyi! ( Assuming nationality was no issue)

VaddaABeetch · 19/04/2022 15:37

JK Rowling

womaniswomaniswoman · 19/04/2022 15:51

@Pieceofpurplesky

My dream team PM Andy Burnham Deputy Jess Phillips Finance Martin Lewis Environment Caroline Lewis Women JK Rowling

Then jobs for Zara Sultana, David Lammy, Lisa Nandy, Rory Stewart,

Then have a teacher, a doctor, a nurse etc to run relevant departments

No no no!

You're not sidelining JK to a role solely about women; she's clearly meant for PM.

womaniswomaniswoman · 19/04/2022 15:51

@LizzieBet14

Jurgen Klopp 👍
Oh good call!
Pieceofpurplesky · 19/04/2022 15:54

Womanis I want someone with more experience of running a country and not just Hogwarts though 😀.

Obviously she would use her expertise in other areas but I want people with experience in a role
I.e a teacher looking at education. A real one that's worked in a classroom!

JellyTeapot · 19/04/2022 15:55

Joanna Lumley

womaniswomaniswoman · 19/04/2022 15:59

Yeah but how is a teacher really qualified to lead all of education either?

JK leads an international charity, I think that's got to show some business and political chops.

TulipsGarden · 19/04/2022 16:08

@Lollipop858

Are the people suggesting Jordan Peterson being real? The man cries at EVERYTHING, we can’t have a sobbing PM Grin
He also hates woman and wants us out of public life and back in the home bringing up children. I can't believe women would seriously vote for him.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind if the current PM showed a bit of remorse.

FridayBluezzzz · 19/04/2022 16:09

JKR too

JM recently admitted she hasn’t paid her taxes. Talks about not being able to pay her rent whilst simultaneously buying loads of stuff. I can’t be bothered to go on but literally can’t think of anyone worse.

DinosaursEatMan · 19/04/2022 16:11

JKR, with Ian Hislop as deputy

Klippetyklip · 19/04/2022 16:11

Andy Burnham

GlassOfPort · 19/04/2022 16:32

I would be happy to give Starmer a go, I'd take dull and competent over flamboyant charlatan any day...

Most of those mentioned in the thread would be in my dream cabinet, though: JKR, Andy Burnham, Ed Milliband, Yvette Cooper, Jess Philips, Martin Lewis..

RomeoOscarXrayIndigoEcho · 19/04/2022 16:33

Joanna Cherry
JRK Rowling
Martin Lewis MSE

I'd have Jack Monroe as a special advisor.

Blossomtoes · 19/04/2022 16:35

If we’re looking only at existing MPs, Dan Jarvis.

CaptainHammer · 19/04/2022 16:42

I’d like a PM who pays their taxes so that’s Jack Monroe out

Comedycook · 19/04/2022 16:44

Martin Lewis. I think he is brilliant.

PoseyFlump · 19/04/2022 16:51

What do you mean @CaptainHammer? I thought she sold books and everything.

Andthenanothercupoftea · 19/04/2022 16:57

Not sure on PM but my dream team at the top would be Andy Burnham, Angela Rayner, Rory Stewart, Ed Miliband, Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, Paul Sinnah, Ian Hisplop... That got a bit out of hand ...

Jack Monroe is a joke - with all the anti stuff in this thread prepare for it to be deleted. She is a grifter of the highest order, doest pay taxes and is economical with the truth (at best), she'd fit right in with the current government.

If we're talking food writers - Jamie tried his hardest with school meals or Nadiya Hussain does good family food.

PoseyFlump · 19/04/2022 17:01

If this thread is anything to go by then someone should tell Rory Stewart he needs to switch back to labour!

But I'm sticking with King of the North Andy Burnham.

PurpleDaisies · 19/04/2022 17:04

Jed Bartlett.

ermagerdabear · 19/04/2022 17:08

She hasn't paid any taxes on her earnings for about two years. She also has a Patreon that earns at least two grand month while pleading poverty and making out she can only afford £10 a week for food.

FiveNineFive · 19/04/2022 17:10

@MatildaJayne

John Smith. The best Prime Minister we never had.

Or Andy Burnham.

Seriously, I think at least three times a week about how different the political landscape would be if John Smith hadn't died
