For me it has to be jack monroe. She spends all her time showing people how to eat on a budget. Amazing thread this morning where she does a whole weeks worth of food for 37p a meal! Imagine if she was in government

JK Rowling

Realistically, in a few years, I'm hoping Jess Phillips will get the job. I'm a big fan (and I bet she's a Mumsnetter!)

Katie Hopkins.

@BingoBungle

I am yearning —desperate— for a PM with integrity, humanity, and credibility. I can’t believe that Keir Starmer, who looks so great on paper, has been such a dismal failure against the Tory liars, thieves, racists and xenophobes (and their internally-colonised POC patsies like Priti and Kwasi).

If we’re talking actual politicians I would have been happy with Nick Clegg, but him taking the Facebook shilling has tarred him forever.

Martin Lewis?

Martin Lewis is another good shout.

Keir I was so excited for, but he's been a massive let down

Priti Patel is the Asian Katie Hopkins.

Is Harriet Harman still in the politics game? She would be good. Amateur hour is over, I’m sick of chancers in government. We need people with experience of government or policing.

John Smith.

William Hague. He took the Conservative leadership too soon and it didn't do much for his career. A bit like the baseball cap. That said, he was straight-talking and honest and his time would have been now.

BingoBungle · 19/04/2022 12:33

Along with Michael Heseltine, John Smith is the best PM we never had.

I like Jess Phillips but it’s not her time yet.

xedise952 · 19/04/2022 12:35

Is jk Rowling a joke?

My cat catches mice for free and distributes them free of charge as well.

That's a savings of 37p a meal over your candidate - £1.11 per day, £7.77 per week, £31.08 per month, £372.96 a year

Fluffy for PM!!!!! 🐈 Flowers Wine

James O’Brien. His book ‘How Not To Be Wrong: The Art of Changing Your Mind’ showed that he considers his opinions and is open to changing them. And he makes a lot of sense on the radio. I know he’s marmite on Mumsnet though.
