I think I'll be falling asleep in front of the FA cup.

We've just had prawn cocktail, roast lamb with roasties and yorkies (yes yorkies fucking do belong in all roasts) crumble and custard, and 5 bottles of wine between 4 adults.

Anyone else going to sleep now?

I'm full of homemade gyoza and ramen plus a couple of Aperol spritzes 😴. Decided not to do a roast this year.

Don't feel too jealous of us.

We've just stopped Alien, switched to Life of Brian, ordered Dirty Pizza, DH has revived himself after lunch to find birthday candles to put in the pizza to sing happy uppy day dear Jesus...

Then I'm sure we'll sing always look on the bright side of life, then do a big cheers. And eat pizza in bed.

Full of roast chicken. Hammered on champagne. Guzzled cherry and almond tart with cream for afters. Currently drinking cafetiere coffee and watching t.v.

No wine for me today, I over did things last night out with mates. I did manage to take the edge off my hangover with the help of tonic water and painkillers. Then cooked a leg of lamb, puy lentils, veg (some of which I burned by accidentally putting the ring on under it) and pudding. We had cheese too.

Veggie haggis, veggie sausages, normal sausages (not for me), broccoli, carrots, spuds, sweet potatoes, peppers, onions, stuffing, parsnips and yorkies and gravy followed by home made rice pudding. Cannot move.
