Can I show off my Easter cake? And would anyone like to show me theirs?

19yo DS1 came home from uni wanting to learn how to do lots of different cake-making, icing and sugarcraft, so we've had a fun few weeks, culminating in this Easter cake which we made all the flowers for together

It's a six-layer chocolate cake with whipped milk chocolate ganache filling, dark chocolate ganache coating, and piped sweetened chocolate whipped cream.

Anyone else made an Easter cake they want to post a pic of?

Bloody hell fire. That cake is a beaut! What I love most is that DS came home from uni and wanted to bake with you ... That and the nest, I love the nest.

I have a hope that one day this will be my DSs but our cake would never come close to this!

I love it! Absolutely beautiful. We've been on holiday so not done any baking this year.

That is a thing of beauty. My DCs have requested a sugar-free week (after a full week of treats) so I wont have anything to show!

My mini egg cheesecake is currently chilling in the fridge. I still need to decorate the chocolate Bundt cake I've made. I was going to make chocolate Rice Krispie cakes too but forgot about them. Maybe on Monday.

Nowhere near as fancy as your beautiful creation, but I hada spare half hour so I made cheese cakes in the halves of spare Easter eggs

OP, I'm far more robust and suited to cake disposal than @CarrieMoonbeams - I will magnanimously take on the challenge, for the good of womankind.

I don't even like chocolate very much (just maltesers occasionally) but that looks incredible!

No cake here, just lots and lots of hot cross buns.

I've only baked a birthday cake in this last month so I can only show that off... Not sure if it meets the criteria though 😅
