How much has your DD gone up by?

Devo1818 · 14/04/2022 17:28

EDF have emailed me to say my DD has gone up but haven't said by how much and when I log in to find out it says it can't load my data. So no idea what to budget this month.

Current - £122 per month, both gas and electric
3 bed semi, family of 4 (5 and 3 year old).

Place your bets please!

Well mine's just doubled, family of just the two of us.

TheSnowyOwl · 14/04/2022 17:39

I’m going to guess £210.

Ours went from £120 to £275.

Kezzie200 · 14/04/2022 17:44

£290

May parents are on EDF and their deal will expire in June. I've seen those rates. Great for the moment but the change is going to be scary.

Marmite27 · 14/04/2022 17:45

Ours was £118, went up initially to £137, then to 192

GinIronic · 14/04/2022 17:45

Mine has gone up from £200 pm to £300 pm - thanks EDF.

Skiptheheartsandflowers · 14/04/2022 17:46

Expect it to at least double. Sorry.

SpottyStripyDuvet · 14/04/2022 17:46

Mine has just gone from £90 to £166 for a 3 bed mid terrace.

ReadyToMoveIt · 14/04/2022 17:47

£200 to £330

melissasummerfield · 14/04/2022 17:47

Also with EDF and we have gone from £325 to £506, it makes me feel physically sick.

Devo1818 · 14/04/2022 17:52

I will post when I eventually find out but will budget £250.
These numbers are crazy, I don't understand how they are getting away with it.

Ours went from £120 to £320 with British Gas. It was £75 at Christmas.

ThatsGoingToHurt · 14/04/2022 17:55

Mine was £80 in September then I put it up to £100, then in February I put it up to £150. Then a week or so ago I had an email saying it was going up to £180. 2 adults and preschool children

MoonminMummy9 · 14/04/2022 18:00

£230

VeganGod · 14/04/2022 18:02

Maybe £250ish?

Ours was already £230 on this house and now they’re saying over £400. 😬

Duracellbunnywannabe · 14/04/2022 18:02

4 bed, I’m a sahp and DH works from home. Gone up from £170 to £300.

Svara · 14/04/2022 18:06

Shouldn't it be about 54%? Mine hasn't actually been put up yet, currently £62 for two in a three bed, but I fixed at 15% above the new cap in March and it's meant to be £109. Trying to get usage down so it hopefully may end up being lower when they change it.

desiringonlychild2022 · 14/04/2022 18:06

In London, 2 of us in a 2 bed flat.

£166 but expecting it to go up.

adarkwhisperinthewoodwasheard · 14/04/2022 18:16

Went from £40 to £60 in August then to £136 in October. They wrote to say it was going up to £163 in January. I queried this based on meter readings and they agreed to £100 p/m. Submitted meter readings at the end of March and turns out £163 was pretty spot on.

1/2 bed flat here

Moody123 · 14/04/2022 18:17

Mines gone from £140 to £180 with British Gas, a 4 bed semi

PanettoneMoly · 14/04/2022 18:21

Ours went from £112 to £215 per month (E.On) . Gas & electric, 2 bed terrace, 2 adults, 1 little DC

Lavenderlid · 14/04/2022 18:25

Eon - £80 - £180 - £238 (today)

pradavilla · 14/04/2022 18:25

£100 to £195 but prices had increased in December when I came off fixed rate. I was nearly £300 in credit I now owe them £20 and new payments started this month of £195 😢
