Money no object - what would you get (done)?

Just fantasizing a little here: if I could get anything free of charge, I'd get my nails done every week, and my hair. I'd have a daily cleaner and a cook (but no live-in staff). I'd get my car cleaned weekly. And I'd get a face lift and some liposuction.

What would you go for? Is my list horribly demanding? Would I be higher maintenance than most?

This wouldn't be stuff paid for by someone else by the way. It'd be a weird world where this stuff would be free for whatever reason. And let's keep it lightweight and not go down the 'with all the issues in the world why are you thinking about a facelift?' etc.

A chef to prepare one beautiful nutritious meal a day
A housekeeper once a week who also sorts the bills and paperwork
A gardener once a week
Car cleaned and valeted weekly
Personal pilates coach

An indoor pool and some land to plant trees.

I'd have massive luxury house (my main house, and also my holiday homes) somewhere rural with a fantastic view. It'll have a well equipped home gym and a pool. Big airy kitchen with useful gadgets. A cinema room with comfy seating. Massive bedroom with a walk in wardrobe/dressing room and a balcony. Sunken bath and a toilet with soft close seat/lid (don't ask).

My PT will visit each morning. They'll also be a qualified pilates and yoga instructor.

I'll have a housekeeper to sort meals/laundry/cleaning, a PA to sort out life admin, a gardener and someone to maintain my fancy cars and motorbikes.

I'll have a few horses (so they have equine company), and some dogs and I'll spend my days outdoors with both instead of being trapped indoors behind a desk.

HelloDulling · 07/04/2022 06:58

A visiting masseur every morning
A housekeeper three times a week.
A meal delivery service.

Dinoteeth · 07/04/2022 07:03

Chef and personal trainer!

Basically make me lose the excess weight.

Namechangedforspooky · 07/04/2022 07:09

In my dreams I’d hire a butler

In reality I think I’d make do with a couple of all inclusive holidays so I don’t have to cook, hiring a cleaner and dropping my hours at work (I’m very tired today after too many night shifts so there’s a theme!)

PinkCheetah · 07/04/2022 07:18

Daily cleaner
Full time nanny
Personal assistant to deal with all the mundanities
Chef everyday including to do packed lunches for work
New car bought in full
Add a chauffeur to that too!

TerrifiedandWorried · 07/04/2022 07:22

Therapy. Lots of lovely therapy.
A cleaner, gardener and chauffeur.
Someone to do the fucking meal plan.

PointeShoesandTutus · 07/04/2022 07:23

I’ve divided it into categories:

STAFF
Daily cleaner who does laundry and ironing
Team of gardeners
Yoga/Pilates/barre core teacher twice a week
Personal trainer twice a week
Driver

HOUSE
Large, spacious, light filled house with big windows
Granny type annexe with an interconnecting door for guests
Huge garden with rose garden, orchard, veg garden, cutting garden, play area with trampoline
Pool with outdoor indoor part and hot tub

ME
Weekly mani and pedi
Weekly massage
Monthly eyebrow shape
Monthly cut and colour

TotallyTS · 07/04/2022 07:32

Daily cleaner/housekeeper.
They could also help me with meal planning and shopping. Maybe prepare some meals in advance but I definitely don't want a full time cook.

Someone to come in weekly or monthly and manage all my bills and annoying stuff like house insurance and car service.

I'd have Clea and Joanna come in and organize my whole house.

Gardener.

I'd get my nails, brows and lashes done regularly.
Weekly facial and other skin treatments.

Maybe a weekly blow dry. I might even get some very natural extensions underneath to help my hair feel fuller as it's all flat and lank.

Glam team to come and get me ready for nights out. I'd look natural and polished.

Weekly car valet. They won't need to sort the petrol as my cars would be electric.

Weekly dog groomer and someone on standby for walking/dog sitting when needed. Not every day as we like walking the dog.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 07/04/2022 07:49

I'd get a personal trainer and a housekeeper - the housekeeper would mean I actually had time to see the personal trainer.

I'd have a heated indoor swimming pool so I could swim everyday.

I'd get a personal stylist as I feel quite lost with how I want to dress, and would like to wear clothes I love everyday.

I'd get several different styles of glasses.

Other than that, I wouldn't change much. I'd never go for surgery or Botox. I don't mind my grey hairs and I love my curls. I like my figure generally, but would like to be stronger and fitter.

ImplementingTheDennisSystem · 07/04/2022 08:08

I'd get my teeth done.
I'd also buy lots of amazing, mature specimen plants for the garden - huge palms and Antarctica tree ferns and so on.

coronafiona · 07/04/2022 22:19

A house for my children. Freedom. And liposuction, cleaner, cashmere etc Grin

Cookiecrumble22 · 07/04/2022 22:25

Get my teeth sorted . Gastric band. A nice big house .

Then the smaller things like heating on all through winter without a worry. Nice quality clothing.

Neverreturntoathread · 07/04/2022 22:39

Personal trainer
Chef
Cleaner every other day
Invisible braces
Regular detailed health check with top doctor

Trampoline room

skybluee · 07/04/2022 23:28

Lots of different shoes/trainers to see which cause the least pain when walking (foot issue).

Lovinglife45 · 07/04/2022 23:44

Where do I start?
5 bed detached house
Landcaped garden
Cleaner
Dc attend private school
Trust fund for dc
Luxury holidays
Small dog for dc
High end clothes
High end shoes
Set up programme for low income families - thinking makeover for parents, shop for new wardrobe, UK family break, ongoing support - cooking skills, parenting skills

AlexanderArnold · 07/04/2022 23:48

Five times weekly psychoanalysis

Time to have this. So three people to blitz the house including laundry, towels and beds, twice a week. I'd work every day, but short hours so I can drop of and collect my children and help them with homework myself.

Chef would help too.

I'm happy with everything else. I like my yoga studio, body, clothes. Yoga sorts my back and other aches; one class is stretching, one physical and aerobic

AlexanderArnold · 07/04/2022 23:49

drop off...

mjf981 · 08/04/2022 02:19

I'd have all my teeth replaced.
Fly the best dermatologist in to remove the scar on my forehead.
Personal trainer.
My own personal chef.

Snorkello · 08/04/2022 05:44

If money really was no object, I’d clear all mine and my friends mortgages, then spend my time buying land and rewilding it. Lots and lots of trees!

Plus get a gazillion cats, dogs, horses. Obvs.

Iwab82 · 08/04/2022 06:09

Cleaner and gardener. I'd visit salons and get some natural looking botox/ fillers as recommended for a natural but more youthful look!! Hairdresser twice a week for blow dry and anything else that needed doing. Pottery shed! Personal shopper and complete wardrobe overhaul. Holidays, lots of them. In reality I'd hate it and feel guilty for having tons of money!!

camelfinger · 08/04/2022 07:33

I’d like a personal adviser, who understood my priorities, and who would give the best course of action about a whole wealth of issues.
On the opposite side, I’d like someone who just hung around and did whatever I asked them to do, without offering advice. Both of these staff might be sent away for the day without question if I wanted alone time (that’s one thing I’d find hard with having teams of staff).
In terms of the beauty/self care side, I’d want the adviser to find options that didn’t involve me sitting there for hours, I love the outcome of a blow dry but don’t like sitting there being pulled about.

sanityisamyth · 08/04/2022 07:43

Housework and cooking. It'd be amazing to come home to a clean, tidy house and also not have to think about food/cooking.

BaileysBreakfast · 08/04/2022 08:00

I’d have someone landscape/ design my garden and put in wonderful herbaceous borders and a winding path with relaxing seating areas at different stages. They’d also take out all the bindweed.

Then I would have the house fully and cleverly insulated restoring and preserving all the lovely brickwork and stonework. I’d get new UPVC sash Windows and lots of carbon neutral energy tech- solar, heat pumps and underfloor heating throughout.

I’d get a new bathroom that wasn’t designed in the 80s.

I’d get dd a dog and horse riding lessons.

Burnittotheground · 09/04/2022 12:58

I have lived in countries where I had full time housekeepers, cooks and cleaners, and honestly I was bored to bits and hated it. Made me and the family lazy too. I would like a little more help than I have now but not that much more.

I also do not plan to get Botox or facelifts or lipo ( am 50 so I think I can say that with some certainty).
