Money no object - what would you get (done)?

Just fantasizing a little here: if I could get anything free of charge, I'd get my nails done every week, and my hair. I'd have a daily cleaner and a cook (but no live-in staff). I'd get my car cleaned weekly. And I'd get a face lift and some liposuction.

What would you go for? Is my list horribly demanding? Would I be higher maintenance than most?

This wouldn't be stuff paid for by someone else by the way. It'd be a weird world where this stuff would be free for whatever reason. And let's keep it lightweight and not go down the 'with all the issues in the world why are you thinking about a facelift?' etc.

Cleaner, weekly massage and facial. A wig that looks real - my own hair is very fine and it couldn't support extensions. Boob job.

I do get my nails done every month already.

Overthebow · 04/04/2022 17:34

Housekeeper, chef, nanny who does evenings too occasionally and weekly massage and facial.

Grandville · 04/04/2022 17:37

Combo of cleaner, housekeeper and PA - maybe this would be a butler? 🧐 Also a gardener.

Weekly massages. Regular mani pedi. Fancy hair stuff. Premium gym/Spa membership with personal trainer.

Laser eye surgery. Dental work to make my teeth whiter.

I'd travel a lot more and in luxury.

Ignoring big stuff like nicer house, car etc. as that's a given.

HowIsItMarchAlready · 04/04/2022 19:55

@Fillybuster oh yes! I want a lake in my garden too!! With a little wooden pier that the dogs can jump into the water from.
@Lightning020Sorry if this is off topic slightly but do you find that helps with pain etc? I have a weak and generally achy back and was considering trying to save some money for something like this. Sorry if I'm being too nosey xx
Sorry only read yr message just now. Yes deep tissue massage helps but if it is something more ingrained then I would recommend a sports physio person. I am lucky enough to have one I go to occasionally for a more thorough session. I would not recommend Swedish massage however as it does those awful hacking movements!

HowIsItMarchAlready · 06/04/2022 18:40

I have thought of another one - a service where they send someone to your home to pack and then unpack your holiday luggage!

rookiemere · 06/04/2022 19:02

Ooh @HowIsItMarchAlready if you were that rich you could just get them to buy a new holiday wardrobe each time and charity shop it ( once washed) when you got back.

SilverSplitsTheBlue · 06/04/2022 19:05

Breast reduction. And get the family a full medical MOT.

notprincehamlet · 06/04/2022 20:03

Acres of big shiny Hollywood horse teeth (think Julia Roberts meets Mr Ed), hair scientists to keep my hair so coiffed I'd go up a hat size, a team of experts to swoop in and reconstruct me at regular intervals throughout the day, Heston Blumenthal to make me salads that taste like chocolate digestives ...

ronjobbins · 06/04/2022 20:06

@northernlola

A housekeeper who would come for several hours a day. A gardener. Basically an immaculate and organised house without me having to do anything!

Don't think I'd be fussed about hair and nail salons. But I'd like lots of massages, facials, reflexology and acupuncture.

Regular car valet. All sounds delightful! Not much like my current life!

This sounds perfect. I’d also like to have a fabulous smile makeover.
Bagadverts · 06/04/2022 20:20

Cleaner
Manicures and taxis without guilt I’m wasting money
Laser hair removal
Chef, also private cooking lessons as I don’t mind it I’m just bad
Botox (medical not cosmetic) as often and at times to suit as I need
Shopper and tailor to make me look presentable

That would do for now

SockFluffInTheBath · 06/04/2022 20:24

A Pilates or yoga teacher to come to my house and do private lessons. I’d spend a ridiculous amount on my garden. I don’t have a cleaner and wouldn’t get one, I don’t want a stranger in here touching everything. I think just that really, nothing else.

Jellykat · 06/04/2022 20:28

Me, teeth and haircut..

House, sort the plumbing, new carpets throughout , fix my oven, and new woodburner so im not bloody freezing!
Oh and id love a big wooden Summer house with a veranda!

GinJeanie · 06/04/2022 22:37

Some excellent varifocals and my piles fixed please... 🍑

TheChosenTwo · 07/04/2022 00:58

Daily hairstylist and daily cleaner/housekeeper.

blueshoes · 07/04/2022 01:35

A gentle start to the day with breakfast in bed and a laptop logged in
A lady who gives me a blow dry every morning so I can have big styled hair
House is sparkling clean every day always
Fresh flowers around the house
Manicured garden
Ironed clothes put away on spacious hangers which are not squashed together
Shoes wiped and tidied away
Delicious food and canapes on tap
Lots of fruit and snacks served in porcelain bowls, pre-cut
News, books and online literature galore
Spacious bright interiors with pleasing decor and high ceilings, temperature just right
If I don't want to see anybody, nobody must be allowed to come into my space

ABitDrunk · 07/04/2022 01:43

I would buy a Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor.

And flying lessons.

Hawkins001 · 07/04/2022 01:43

Someone to

Help improve my knowledge on various topics, e.g. Philosophy, politics, economics etc
A maintenance person to fix my bicycle when needed and repair it.
someone to teach me survival skills , close quarters combat skills.
My own team of photographers with different fashion perspectives.
My own personal driver, to take me to different locations when needed.
My own bunker or base that's either under ground or above.
Learn how to drive
Have a company produce 10k word essays of various topics I'm interested in, so I can learn more about the topic without info overload.

dipdye · 07/04/2022 02:05

Teeth straightened
Labiaplasty
Boob lift
Bingo wings done
Hair extensions
Fat sucked off my inner thighs

Girlmumdogmumboymum · 07/04/2022 02:22

Ooh, I'd start with my mental health. I'd address all my issues with anxiety and food, then I'd actually get to my goal weight wouldn't I!
I'd follow that up with loose skin removal- I have a fair bit anyway. But I'd have more if I was at goal,
Then I'd get my chin hair zapped off, I'd get my hair done twice a month,
Then I'd have a cleaner and a cook.
I'd spend my days at the gym... ah life would be perfect

IGotAVaxAndILikedIt · 07/04/2022 02:54

Housekeeper, gardener and someone who maintained a fully stocked pantry/mini mart for me (and the space to have that). So I can just cook and whatever without having to go shopping.

I quite enjoy cooking, working and parenting (now the kids are older), but a driver would also be nice - or a self driving car.

Grasping · 07/04/2022 02:56

Daily massage
Personal Trainer
Blow dry each week
Someone to clean my bike after each ride 😂

Namaste6 · 07/04/2022 04:08

A Facelift
A personal trainer and top of the range Pilates reformer

Namaste6 · 07/04/2022 04:11

And...

A resident chef
A regular gardener
A daily head massage

Wilburisagirl · 07/04/2022 04:30

Daily cleaner/housekeeper/ironing lady
A bigger house. We could do with a rumpus room and an extra bedroom.
Weekly hair & nails, monthly facial treatments.
Two or three times a week personal training.
