I’m friends with Huey from the Fun Lovin Criminals. I also went to school with Duncan from Blue- I don’t hang out with him anymore but we both comment on each other’s FB posts etc.

I know someone who used to play in the Premier League in the early noughties. I don't actually know how famous he is because I'm not really a football person, but he did well for himself back in the day and he's still recognised where we live. Nice bloke, a bit shy, always kind to my kid.

DH has known quite a few famous people in his time, though I tend to only hear about it when they die. He was at school with Gary Brooker of Procul Harum - sat next to him in Latin. He knew Tariq Ali in the 1960’s - Ali told him he was going to be Prime Minister of Pakistan one day which has not yet happened.
The coolest one is that he went on two dates with Helen Mirren when they were both 16. Their schools were near each other in Southend & she was absolutely gorgeous (as she still is) & just about to go off to join the National Youth Theatre.
He didn’t “get anywhere” with her, so to speak.

I went to school with Jamie McLeod Ross he’s been in Harry Potter and mama Mia to name a couple! I recently found out I’m related to Harvey in EastEnders (closely related) I’ve also had many drinks with Melinda messenger and she offered to babysit 🙂
