It's Sunday. I'm bored! Do you have any celebrity friends as in close enough to have them on Watsapp etc. Come on give us a clue, maybe some MNers will even be brave enough to tell us names!

Friends, no, not really. But I did spend a few weeks with Alan Cumming doing a charity/PR trip for an organisation that I worked for. He is so incredibly lovely and gracious. After 2 weeks in very rural areas, sleeping on concrete floors and eating random camp food as we travelled around to community organisations that the charity worked with, we stayed in the city in a very nice hotel and he took us out to a really amazing restaurant and got me drunk on martinis and we went to an underground gay club (being gay is illegal in the country we were in unfortunately). He was just so normal and lovely.

I also had a friend who dated Uma Thurman back in the day. He was also pretty normal, but apparently she took him to some wild places.

I have Claire Balding’s mum’s number in my phone - she used to be a Trustee for the company I work for and I never delete numbers! She was lovely when my DD was born, bought a little Jellycat bunny for her.

I also have the numbers of several other high profile folk in the Horseracing industry, but they would mean nothing to anyone on the outside!

My dad used to work with a guy who’s brother is in a very famous band - The Progidy. The lead singer. Lots of money obviously, but apparently he didn’t give his brother handouts, and he didn’t expect anything.

One of my uncles used to have a window cleaning round and had done work for Nicholas Lyndhurst back in the late 90s, he was a regular customer.

I’m friends with a music producer who is famous in the music industry - gets nominated for mercury awards and that sort of thing. We became friends because our dc are friends, but he’s an absolute top bloke and his wife is lovely, so Dh and I socialise with them a lot. I don’t really know anything about music really, so I tend to forget he’s actually enormously cool, and then a record by Blur or Depeche Mode or someone will come on the radio and he’ll say “Oh I produced this” and it’s quite surreal. He worked with so many of the cool bands of the nineties and noughties. And later ones too, but I’ve never heard of them so they don’t count

Are his initials BH and do they live near the South coast? If so I also know him and he's utterly lovely!

I know a handful of United/ex-United players through my old job and bump into them occasionally. Juan Mata and David de Gea are very nice guys, some others are ...not.

I grew up living in a village with Rowan Atkinson. He knows my name 😁 asked my mum how her kids were by name (both in our 30s!)

Really nice guy. I’ve seen so much bad press about him, but he’s never been anything but lovely!

I'm very good friends with someone who presents on television regularly, and also I was good friends with a now successful and famous author. Until she got successful and famous 😅

Name changed as this is a bit outing.... my OH is a musician and played with Steps as their live guitarist during their hey day. Lots of funny stories about them and all complimentary. He's played with loads of well kown musos over the years, some are lovely, others not so. He supported the Hoosiers a few times and they are quite up themselves. He was quite friendly with Jimmy Page years go and used to string his guitar for him

Gah see Jenny Eclair was SO rude to me when I was a shop assistant on the Kings Road. K Middy was sweet but quiet, Kanye a train wreck, Naomi Campbell dreadful. Abby Clancy- hideous!

My dad was a musician in the 80s (not famous, sessioned for big bands), and he’s sort of floated round in a circle of comedians/actors/radio presenters. So I had these odd childhood experiences of being sat in corners of these peoples parties. Kevin Eldon (who isn’t super famous) is a proper family friend. He’s a nice man and funny in real life.

My sibling works in the industry (not remotely famous themselves) and has worked with loads of celebrities, ranging from Justin Timberlake to Louis Theroux to Sadiq Khan to minor celebs off of reality tv shows. They do have personal contact details for a number of celebs, especially ones they have worked with on multiple occasions. Sibling says most are nice enough, Robbie Williams is supposed to be a really lovely bloke, genuine & friendly. Sibling also says one of the worst celebrities they have worked with was Sherrie Hewson (from Corrie and Loose Women)- rude, unprofessional, up herself and quite childish.
