It's Sunday. I'm bored! Do you have any celebrity friends as in close enough to have them on Watsapp etc. Come on give us a clue, maybe some MNers will even be brave enough to tell us names!

DH’s cousin is a founding member of The Cure, although hasn’t been in the band for a number of years. He lives in America now, so no real connection since DH was a teen and got given free gig tickets now and again. Think DH speaks to their brother and sister more than he does.

My youngest DS is 18 and is the spit of him around the same age.

Not a friend at all but my husband met a lot of them while working in film and movie security. Danny devito, colin farrel, justin bieber, one of the young jenner, david beckham, one guy from home alone, edris elba etc. few victoria secret models. Some of them really nice as i would expect and some were huge surprise, or better say disappointment

Not me but my brother worked in the media backs in the 00's. I went to a party that he had once and Denise van Outen was there. He used to be really good friends with her and has her mobile number but hasn't been in contact with her for ages. He also knows Jake Quikenden through other friends who worked in the media and says he is lovely and so genuine.

I’m friends with a music producer who is famous in the music industry - gets nominated for mercury awards and that sort of thing. We became friends because our dc are friends, but he’s an absolute top bloke and his wife is lovely, so Dh and I socialise with them a lot. I don’t really know anything about music really, so I tend to forget he’s actually enormously cool, and then a record by Blur or Depeche Mode or someone will come on the radio and he’ll say “Oh I produced this” and it’s quite surreal. He worked with so many of the cool bands of the nineties and noughties. And later ones too, but I’ve never heard of them so they don’t count

DP's dad was good friends with Fish. Unfortunately DP has zero musical knowledge and used to sarcastically say 'Still a rockstar Fish?' as he didn't believe him 🤦🏻‍♀️
It all came to light one night when we were talking about strange nicknames and DP said 'my dad's pal is called Fish, he's in some crappy band and reckons he's a rockstar'
So I showed him a picture.

Wow! He seemed like such a lovely man. He's my favourite actor of all time. My favourite film ever is Truly, Madly, Deeply. It was so sad when he died.

Yes. I know a few American actors, very famous but very normal, down to earth. One is the main character in a long running Netflix series. Another was a more famous as a child actor but still does bits n pieces now.

Name changed for this. We used to live next door to Robbie Coltrane, we still keep in touch and our children visited the Harry Potter sets when they were younger to meet the cast. Simon Neil from Biffy used to be a frequent visitor to our house when DS was younger, they’re still great pals. DH has a very famous sibling who he’s often mistaken for.

I worked with Jake on an event a few years ago and he was indeed lovely and genuine.

He was always lovely to me when I was a child I never really spoke to him much as an adult but I didn’t actually know at that age he was a celebrity!

I once walked past Joanna lumley, does that count lol she lives near me, I always wondered if I'd see her and then there she was!
