The borders are easy places to hide weapons and Ukraine has a massive border with belts of forests through which western weapons will be transported. Thermal vision equipment will be essential to transport and guard this equipment.

OSINTdefender @sentdefender
It’s now seems there may have been 2 Separate Incidents in the Belgorod Region tonight, Russian State Media is saying that while the Area was Shelled by Ukrainian Forces the Munition Depot Explosion was caused by “Human Error” something clearly doesn’t add up here.

Someone hasn't got their story straight yet!

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 20:57

Woofers@NotWoofers
Think there are two events which took place in Belgorod Oblast tonight. 1 being a ammo depot explosion.
t.me/rian_ru/15625

[rtb - translation of the above: The reason for the explosions near Belgorod, previously, was the human factor, RIA Novosti was told in emergency services.]

And then another which seems to be shelling on the Russian side of the border which hit near a village and injured 4.
t.me/tass_agency/12
[rtb - translation of the above: Four servicemen were wounded when a shell hit a military camp in the Belgorod region, the source said. According to preliminary information, the shelling was carried out from the side of Ukraine]

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 21:01

Sergej Sumlenny @sumlenny
Ukrainian army hit a Russian ammunition depot on Russian territory near Belgorod with a ballistic missile "Tochka-U". This is the first time as Ukraine attacks Russian territory as a retaliation. A huge inspiration for Ukrainian army, and a great humiliation for Russian army.

Day 12 in the Putin Big Bunker.
Vladimir is having a bad day. Sergei is hiding under the bed hoping that Vladimir can't find him.

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 21:04

The war is going really well and according to plan...

Nika @nikaln
In Belgorod, explosion occurred because:
- the Azov base was in the ammunition depot
- nothing exploded, it was a planned and scheduled detonation of evil Nazi ammunition
- there was no warehouse at all
- it was a special operation for de-storage

Well that'll be an interesting one for the Kremlin spin team.

PaperTyger · 29/03/2022 21:09

Jgw1

True.

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 21:09

Please tell me that there are other ways to spin this / handle this, other than escalate?

Ijsbear · 29/03/2022 21:12

Pretend it hasn't happened at all.

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 21:12

Shaun Walker @shaunwalker7
Quite a few bangs audible from central Kyiv this evening. Maybe it’s the sound of Russians retreating…

PaperTyger · 29/03/2022 21:31

Magic fox, 🦊

We are getting lots of information thrust at us and I do find some interesting but written by more ivory tower Types.

This by Maxim I feel is spot on.

Some people have amazing, instinct's and this is one of those posts.
People can endlessly waffle on About X y and z but one has to have an instinct for this kind of behaviour.

borntobequiet · 29/03/2022 21:34

Ha ! Right out of the book. Reminds me of Slab Murphy.

This www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/438231.Bandit_Country

is the best book I’ve read about the Troubles and features much about Murphy and other South Armagh farmers and their activities. My paternal aunt sold the family farm in Forkhill some time in the 70s, I think now to avoid being inadvertently dragged into such things. It caused immense family uproar at the time.

PaperTyger · 29/03/2022 21:40

As an aside it strangely occured to me today that zelensky has so much power.

His country doesn't have Nuclear weapons but...if he is attacked tons of countries that do will step in?
He's actually in a very powerful position.
Had the Putin army over run him no... but as we see it's paper tgyer..he's in a strong position.
He's got the backing of solid western armies and arsenal's.

Hillsmakeyoustrong · 29/03/2022 21:41

Any more stories from @TargusEasting? I loved The Lost Key featuring Lavs 😂

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 21:46

Trent Telenko @TrentTelenko
Claims of a Ukrainian a missiles doing this are like one of those two red button memes.

Button 1 -- Russian ammo handling incompetence
Button 2 -- Russian Missile Defense incompetence
Me sweating the choice.

I'm seeing some speculation on twitter that one of the targets may have been an ammo dump at a VKS Training Centre (airforce). That would make a lot of sense if it is a Ukrainian missile.

But at this stage I'm NOT seeing any confirmation from Ukrainian sources of anything.

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 21:56

Oz Katerji @OzKaterji
Sounds like really heavy fighting in the Oblast tonight, relentless rumbling of explosions coming from the west.

This is Kyiv....

West would be Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel area I guess.

EsmaCannonball · 29/03/2022 22:02

Let me guess, 'Well, we were going to play nice and withdraw from Kyiv, but now you've attacked Russia we've changed our mind.' Russian mind games?

PaperTyger · 29/03/2022 22:20

Russian mind games!
I really believe some better progannda need's to be waged back based on ..old redundant men, Holding onto stolen wealth.

And the promise of the new generation.

Ijsbear · 29/03/2022 22:20

mumbles why does anyone believe a word that the Russian govt says? Why even discuss it? Isn't there enough track record to realise that nothing they say is more than hot air?

shreddednips · 29/03/2022 22:26

@RedToothBrush

OSINTdefender *@sentdefender* Russian State Media is now reporting that Ukrainian Artillery Shelled a Russian Military Installation in the Belgorod Region wounding at least 4 Russian Servicemen, Confirming the Explosions we saw earlier, I have a feeling they are downplaying the Severity of this Attack.

Jimmy @JimmySecUK
Reposted for clarity -

TASS claimed the explosion was a result of a "shell" and then deleted the tweet a few minutes later.

RIA are now claiming "four employees of law enforcement agencies were injured in an explosion in the Belgorod region".

I wouldn't be surprised if it was an accident. Given some of the videos circulating showing how some Russian troops have been handling munitions (assuming they're genuine), they're more than capable of blowing up their own storage facilities...
notimagain · 29/03/2022 22:35

I'm inclined to agree with the general feeling that the ammo dump was most likely an accident but there are unconfirmed reports doing the rounds that the Ukrainians hit it with a OTR-21...(short'ish range ballistic missile).

RedToothBrush · 29/03/2022 22:36

@EsmaCannonball

Let me guess, 'Well, we were going to play nice and withdraw from Kyiv, but now you've attacked Russia we've changed our mind.' Russian mind games?
Fuck knows.
DFOD · 29/03/2022 22:53

I anticipate another nasty strike tonight - every single time they are at the table the worst atrocities happen.

Like negotiating with thumb screws.

It’s always a trap and a manipulation

EsmaCannonball · 29/03/2022 23:11

Very frustrating that the British broadcast media is focused on what Russia is saying and not on what Russia is doing. Very much the 'One person says it is raining and one person says it is sunny' strand of journalism. (Where, instead of reporting what people are saying, it should be a journalist's duty to look out of the window and report on what the weather is actually doing.)

Onceuponatimeinalandfaraway · 29/03/2022 23:15

Here is the full interview c4 news did with the Russian diplomat in the USA (why we don’t send all these bastards home to Russia and leave them there I don’t know).
There is a transcript popped up when I first opened the video but I can’t find that (comment?) now
