I have been married for nearly 43 years.
At the weekend I was sorting out with my DD the photos that I have stored.
I got out my album and realised that 3 guests wore white.
It mustn't have been a problem as I couldn't remember.

It was nearly 50 years ago so the only things I remember are-

My Mum's outfit, because she went through so much stress to get exactly what she wanted.

The fact that Grandad wore the same suit to my wedding as he did to Mum's, 28 years before. Bless. He hadn't worn it in between and couldn't see why he needed a new one. Was fine by me.

My friend's boyfriend wore huge blue platform boots with silver stars and a suit he had borrowed which didn't fit.

We had a wonderful day.

Can remember a few from the day 15 years ago. A stand out one was my husbands friend who wore some very tight trousers as part of his suit and they became a casualty of a dance off on the dance floor. He then spent the rest of the night with his suit jacket tied tightly around his waist.
