Top of the Pops 1992. No way is that 30 years ago.

Surely it's like 5 years ago?

Spending a lovely Saturday night with a bottle of wine while DH is away, reminiscing. I was 20, younger than my own DC now. Those were the days. No responsibilities, half a lager, my drink of choice was 70p, 10 Silk Cut we're about £2. Could go out with a tenner, get shit-faced and come back with change!

The 90's really did have something for everyone

SexPeopleLynn · 19/03/2022 22:34

@Shortpoet

If you want to feel really old, 1992 is the same number of years ago that Marty McFly travelled in Back to the Future. (1985 to 1955)
Stop it!!!

Jimmy Nail can't sing to save his life. My ears are bleeding!

saltnvinegarlover · 19/03/2022 22:37

Ohh I bought this CD single

MrsMigginsCat · 19/03/2022 22:38

This time 30 years ago I'd be in the pub, mindful that last orders would be in 25 minutes so I'd be scrabbling together some change to get a cheeky double Bacardi and coke before 11pm. I'd be wearing a bodysuit, probably with the crotch undone by now - they were a bitch to do up after a few drinks - high waisted mom style jeans (wish I'd kept them) and I'd have a Silk Cut in my hand.

My first proper sit down in a theatre gig was the Stones in Sheffield in 1964. My mate ran on the stage and pinched Mick Jaggers scarf - that is how much security they had in those days.

PurpleOranges · 19/03/2022 22:39
