How often do you wash your car

Mine was brand new on 1 July and it's just occurred to me I've never washed it

I don't think it looks that bad and every time I think about doing it the weather forecast is such that it seem pointless.

Is 9 months an exceptionally long time to go without washing your car?

It doesn't do a lot of miles but it is used daily and lives outdoors.

My partner washes and polished it once a month ish. He enjoys doing it. If it was left to me then it would never get done!

About twice a year! As soon as it rains it looks dirty again so I'll only ever do it when we have a stretch of nice weather ahead I'm actually going to do it on Friday as the weather looks dry for a while now 🤞🏻

Hardly ever if I'm honest.

I do mine once a month around pay day. I get it valeted inside and out for £25.

DH does it either every Sunday or if it’s raining at least once a fortnight 😂

He wouldn’t let anyone else do it…sad sod that he is!

I wouldn’t use one of those drive in place, which charge £20 for an inside and out (normally Eastern European) as the people are normally part of human trafficking

What? You're meant to wash your car?

I’ve never washed a car in my life and I’m not starting now.

I keep the windows clean, but otherwise it doesn’t make any difference to how it works so why bother? Is a vehicle to get me from A to B and that’s it.

I have never washed it! My husband takes it to the car wash about once a year but it's quite expensive.

I’ve had mine for 3.5 years and have never washed it.
It got washed at its last service a couple of months ago, that was the first time.
Seems bizarre to me washing something that lives outside/gets rained on/drives through mud etc 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rarely. Went through the car wash yesterday and now my (white) car is covered in Sahara dust 🙄

I do a lot of car washing as I have a number of cars, they spend a lot of their time inside under cover so tend to get cleaned after being used.

My Niece's partner works for a Car Valet company.
He comes to our house once a month and valets both our cars.
Wash wax clean and hoover inside.

DH sometimes takes pity on it though. I then look admiringly at the results of his endeavours.

If you don’t wash the car make sure you do clean the lights and number plates regularly

Tbh I would probably wash it if I could do it myself but we don't have a drive and we're not allowed to wash it on the road so I can't!

Weekly, although we live rurally and after a week of rain you can’t read the numberplate.

Me? Never but it’s bloody car wash wars among the men in the street and they’re all out there competitively snow foaming their cars on a Saturday morning so DH does both of ours weekly 🙈.
