Report in the Guardian that she has had her passport returned and that a negotiating team are in place.

Too early for celebrations but I have got my fingers crossed behind my back.

Somehow I doubt it's a coincidence that she is dressed in the colours of the Ukrainian flag.

I wondered about this when I saw the photo on TV. I know her scarf is not the same bright blue as on the Ukrainian flag, but even so the image did give me pause for thought.

This is all so tangible.

Keeping the faith here, my Mum died three weeks ago, in the end she was declining, the actual end was very fast, this is the happiest I have been in a while.

So I am keeping the faith until she lands.

Anoosheh Ashoori's daughter said earlier on the BBC that they'd bought his favourite beer and some champagne. His wife said he'd most be looking forward to hugging his family. Although Nazanin has been at her parents' home recently, my understanding is that he has come more or less straight from years in a dirty and vermin-infested cell. It is hard to imagine how they must both be feeling now.
I saw that interview too. I hope his health has not suffered too much.
