Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just having my first cup of tea, in silence, just how I like it! I'm about to get up and put a wash load on. & I can hear dd2 moving about upstairs so she'll be down soon.

Today's plan's not very exciting. I want to clean either up, or down, stairs and do the other one tomorrow. It's been a bit of a hectic week so it all needs doing. We'll all chip in so it doesn't take ages.

And we need a walk to asda for a small top-up shop, so we'll do that this afternoon.

Other than that; dd2 has homework to do & I'd like an hour or two with my crochet dinosaur. I expect dd1 will continue watching the live stream of one of the Twitchers she subscribes to 🙄

Dd1's cooking something with chicken and noodles later on 😋 & I'll enjoy a glass of wine with it.

We're watching married at first sight currently, I've accidentally just eaten a packet of jaffa cakes.
We've some holiday prep to do later on and I need to deweather myself!! I can bearly see over bump to do my toe nails!

Currently having breakfast then off to work til 7 pm.

Morning OP! Already had a cuppa and a hoovered and mopped. Now going to visit my sister for a bit.
DD has a photoshoot this afternoon so it will be a home for a bath and hair wash. Going to do the foodshop on the way back but might have to pop into marks for some treats.

Just having a quick sit down with a cuppa before I get started. Busy day playing catch-up with the washing and housework in between various kids club today and tomorrow, also a wedding night do tonight! Already feel shattered before Monday comes round again. But the sun is shining so all good. Have a lovely day 🙂

I don't have to cook as I made a curry last night with extra for today.
DC will play.
I will clean the car at some point. Have a few lots outside to tidy / prune (not that I am pretending to know want I am at with the shrubs)
Mass tonight and Netflix with a rose wine.

A rare quiet weekend which is lovely. Still in bed, then meeting a friend for coffee later. Out last night to friends for dinner but after this morning will probably stay at home until work on Monday morning. Bliss.

Adult dc all now fairly newly flown, and I’m finally getting into the new rhythm of life without them living here. Happily, I get on very well with DH

I'm having a coffee and then I'm going for a long walk with the 7 year old and the dog.
Tidy up when I get back, pay some bills and hopefully sit down this evening.

Later on we are off to see a cat we might be adopting

I also generally need to do a lot of laundry. DH will probably work on his car. Maybe I’ll do some gardening, if the threatening grey clouds don’t put me off.

I’ve promised to cook mac n cheese for dinner 🙄 DH and I are slightly sick of that but it’s DD’s favourite.

I am meant to be on a 10 mile training run for an upcoming half marathon but am instead propped up in bed nursing a broken rib and waiting for my painkillers to kick in. DD3 is snuggled next to me, the cat is on my feet and DH has just brought me a cup of tea so it’s not all bad! DH will take DD and DS out at some point to burn off some energy at the park but otherwise it’s looking like a very quiet weekend ahead (for me anyway…)

Me and 9yr old DD just finishing off breakfast. Off into town afterwards to get nice bread/meat to take over to my parents for lunch. Then back later for chippy tea on the sofa and Ant&Dec.

Was up early this morning with both dogs (we have an extra one due to a family emergency for the next couple of weeks).
Had my first cup of tea while speaking to said relative, DC are just watching a film. Finally managed to set up a PIN number to stop said DC spending shit loads of money on my Amazon prime account

DD and I are off for a girls day today as she puts up with her brothers extra needs so quietly, and often her wants take a bit of a back seat. She wants to get her hair cut and go and buy a new helmet and knee pads for her new skateboard. I'm going to take her for a hot chocolate and cake too
At some point I'll need to catch up on folding laundry, washing laundry and cleaning all the bedrooms. I am so exhausted but if I can get it done today it means I can veg out tomorrow.

I’m just thinking about making my second coffee. DS is playing x box with his friends. I tested positive this week so lazy indoors time for us with probably a walk later so DS can get out in his bike.

I've been up for a few hours as accidentally slept with my hearing aids in (normally take them out at night) so kept hearing this noise and was really confused until I realised it was the dawn chorus! Normally can't hear the birds without my aids in. So I've been awake for a while but have taken them out so now so in a nice silent bubble 😁 currently browsing paint samples as we want to do some painting soon. Can't seem to find the right shade!

Its definitely feeling spring like here and I'm itching to get all our spring jobs done! Today's plan is to change beds and get the sheets on the line, possibly switch to summer duvets but my husband wants to wait a.bit longer.

We are planning on lots of garden jobs today the children love helping with things like that
Eldest is out today at their hobby though. We want to prune some trees and bushes before nesting season and I want to do some planting.

I also need to wander down to the village to the butcher's for some lamb mince as making shepherd pie tonight and to drop off some outgrown clothes to a friend.

Later on this evening I'm off out with a few of the school mums just to the village pub so nothing major but it will be lovely. Quite quiet there too so I'll be able to hear properly, hate noisy bars etc as speech just gets lost in the noise and lip reading is tiring.

Going to take advantage of the nice weather to start sorting the garden and our veggie patch out for spring.

Oh @WombleOfWimbledon2022 I had a broken rib in November, you have my sympathies!
I have Covid so chilling in my room looking longingly out at the sunshine and eating breakfast. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Just lazing in bed at the moment and about to text DP to bring me a cup of tea 😂

Then I'll go and sort my horse out and I think we might go sailing later, weather dependent. If not then I'll help DP to varnish the boat. Thrilling.......🙄

Then we'll probably meet a few friends for drinks tonight, or stay in with pizza and Netflix if not.

TMI but we're trying to have a baby so might do other stuff too....! 😂

The dgc are coming for a sleepover!
They are due in an hour with their new lego for me to help build.
Then they want to make cakes and do some gardening.
They've asked to staying for a roast dinner tomorrow.
It's going to be fun, but I'll sleep well Sunday night!

My inlaws are here, they go home tomorrow (they live abroad), so they’ve gone out for breakfast and a bit of sightseeing. My husbands at baby sensory.

My son has a birthday party to go to today, I’ve got a match at 3 to celebrate 10 years of the East London Vixens.

I’m sat on the sofa, my sons in his room causing chaos (can hear the noise hes making), but oh well, it gives me some peace so I’m going to catch up on the apprentice.

DD is poorly and was up late, so her and dh are still snoozing in bed. I'm drinking a cuppa, and watching True Crime videos on YouTube!
I think our day will mostly be spent with naps and cuddles.

Day 12 of covid here. Rest of the family all well so have gone to cycling club. I’m on the sofa again and wondering if I can manage to have a shower. But the sun is shining and I definitely feel better than yesterday. So much for it feeling like a mild cold, it’s really hit me for 6.

It's been a few weeks since the kids saw their grandparents on my husband's side, so I'm just trying to decide how best to facilitate a get together today. It will probably involve me cooking, but I CBA. Whatever I cook, they'll bring their own side of roasted vegetables and mostly just eat those anyway. Because they're "watching their weight". They'll tell me this between necking bottles of wine, which must be calorie free. 😅

I have a lot of school uniform to wash. Later I might get a foot rub, if I'm lucky.

Do you think it's going to rain? I just hung out 2 loads of washing.

Also watching married at first sight Australia,it's soooo addictive.

Excited for today....afternoon tea with friends to celebrate a milestone birthday then drinks and Indian meal with DH and friends tonight.

Eldest home from uni for a week,so leaving the 2 kids to their own devices today.

Sun is out here yippee! Spring is on the way.
