...strawberry sherbets, or Yorkshire Mixture. But they make one's mouth sore so I might have to get some toffees - mint, treacle or rum butter - to scoff afterwards.

What will you have from the sweet shop ? Don't worry about the cost, or your teeth. MNHQ is picking up the shop and dental bills for everyone.

if they sell crisps I'll have a bag of Burton's potato puffs as well

Chocolate limes, fruit pastilles or jelly babies. They're the only sweets I really like.

We have an old fashioned sweet shop 5 min away been there since my dad was a kid.

Guess where I'm going tomorrow

They also have little trays with 1p 2p and 5p sweets the kids can fill a tray and take to get counted.

I remember the banana slices but I'm very old Confused I also loved the chocolate tools and nutty logs, sweet peanuts, toasted mushrooms and chocolate covered bananas, the original victory Vs and anything sold in 2ozs ( we were poor 😐)
