It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

I did 143 tries. DH came home, showed him the game and he got it IN ONE TRY! He thinks he's clever as anything now but he had all my green words to help him 😅

Yes, 997 is helpful.
I would not have made the connection from 996.
I don't get the connection in any way at all from the themes relating to word 723 (I got stuck on this as a theme originally, whereas DSis had a completely different theme)
963/522 theme - I think you're probably stuck in a smaller part of a wider theme. It's related but sort of sideways from there.

Really tricky because of the way the word links in to several different themes really but it is not a complicated or specialised word. You'll definitely know it even if you don't have any specific knowledge of the theme.

927 is more closely related, although it depends on how you got to that guess as to its meaning.

997 is very obviously close, 996 isn't so much, depending on how you arrived there as it could have more than one 'theme'.

Oh actually - it kind of did help - but in quite a different way to the way I think it's actually linked. That word can have several meanings, and each meaning links to the answer in its own different way. But each way is a jump from word 927 to the answer, rather than a straight line.

Let me know if this is too spoilerish - I'm trying to be vague so that it's only helpful if you know what the word is, but I'll stop if it's annoying people.
