Do you do savoury pancakes on Shove Tuesday?

Currants, lemon and sugar

Raspberry jam.

Gruyere and naice ham for savoury. Lemon & sugar for sweet. But mainly lemon and sugar because it's amazing.

The kids will have generic supermarket chocolate and hazelnut spread Nutella, chocolate fiends that they are. I might sneak a strawberry or two on their plates.

The kids prefer fluffy pancakes and we have them often (drop scones really) but proper thin, lacy pancakes with crispy edges are a thing of beauty.

I’m a heathen. Big thick fluffy American style ones with maple syrup and raspberries.

For American pancakes, maple syrup and bacon.

For English pancakes, lemon and sugar.

For Scotch pancakes, just butter.
