What is my eye colour?

So all my life I've always said I've got green eyes.
My partner recently said well there brown not green. We got into a debate and he said actually they're greeny brown.

But there's only a small amount of brown the most colour is green. Wouldn't you just class then as green?

I would like to have clarification please from MNters?

Mine are hazel, 3 bands - brown then green then blue. Apparently very unusual the optometrist told me 🤷🏽‍♀️

You sounds like you have hetrochromia rather than Hazel eyes - especially with the added blue

They are similar colour to my dh. I think they are more brown/hazel coloured with hint of green.
