What is my eye colour?

So all my life I've always said I've got green eyes.
My partner recently said well there brown not green. We got into a debate and he said actually they're greeny brown.

But there's only a small amount of brown the most colour is green. Wouldn't you just class then as green?

I would like to have clarification please from MNters?

They look just like mine. Which can be anything from brown - green - gold depending on the light.

Yours aren't very green green. I'd say they're brown with a touch of green tint aka hazel.

Ooh, can I hijack the thread please?

I've always struggled with the colour of my eyes. They literally change from blue to grey as you look at them. I've given up now and just 'I don't know' if people ask me what colour they are.

I'd say your eyes are Hazel op, and very beautiful.

V similar to mine - and mine are hazel. Sometimes they look more brown, green or golden

Just green then they are green, as you have some brown this means they are hazel.
Hazel eyes can change the amount of green and brown spending on light but as both colours are present they will always be hazel

Hazel. My eyes are green/grey and have 'bluer' undertones than your eyes, which look warmer to me.

They're a very lovely colour!

My eyes are the same colour as your DD's - green/grey with a blue outer ring and a sort of light brown 'meniscus' around the pupil?

But definitely green/grey.

Mine are the same, but mine are slightly lighter. I always call them brown!
