@Svara

Is it like a Lidl Christmas jumper?
It must be. DS had the Tesco Value Christmas jumper. He thought it was hilarious. Hmm

@Tsuni

Cringe. The tat will be worn once then end up in the bin.
It looks the sort of quality and colour that washes terribly, it would be all faded and if the words are those transfers they'll crack and flake off.

Saw them in Nottingham yesterday when I was visiting my dd.
Her friend wanted to get an insipid hoody, unfortunately for him, 2 people had cleared the rails in front of his eyes.
Must be going to put them on eBay.
I told Him he had a alucky escape

My teenage dd and her friends are buying the baseball caps.

Are they going to wear them? Won't they look like they work in Greggs?
OP posts:
MyDcAreMarvel · 20/02/2022 16:11

Yeah they are in six form I think they will look hilarious but they will be worn.

Comedycook · 20/02/2022 16:12

Irony surely?

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2022 16:54

I'm not sure I need a sausage roll while shopping for clothes, but assume Greggs and Primark have discussed this thoroughly. Grin

It seems to be a bit of a thing these days. I do hope Imodium follow through with this trend.

Primark is a company that started in Ireland - it's called Penneys here.
We don't have Greggs in Ireland - I wonder if they'll sell the Greggs clothing here ? 🙄🙄🙄

CrackerGal · 20/02/2022 17:53

I got my teens lidl t-shirts for Christmas a year or so ago as a gag gift & they actually loved them 😂🤭

Yes I doubt it?! Maybe Quigleys?! 😂
derekthe1adyhamster · 20/02/2022 17:56

I may have had a sausage roll in Birmingham primark whilst visiting my son.....

TabithaTittlemouse · 20/02/2022 17:56

I’ve never been in a greggs so don’t get the fuss! Are they really amazing?

ssd · 20/02/2022 17:58

Ds used to work pt in greggs, we still have his red apron. Maybe i should get a tracky to matchGrin

BigSandyBalls2015 · 20/02/2022 18:01

I noticed our local IKEA had a bar in it the other day.

I have gone in and bought a sandwich but never been in a 'sit down' Greggs.I've always seen it as a takeaway place.

It's reminded me that we have a The Range store that has an Iceland freezer store inside it with an Iceland Cafe not far away.

No of course it's not amazing, it's just a bog standard bakery but it's a chain and they don't sell bread, just sandwiches and baked goods. I mean it's alright but it's nothing special.

The socks and hoodie look ok but everything else looks stupid, especially the shoes. But I did waste twenty minutes of my life watching a video about Gen Z humour the other day and it looks about on the same level as their deliberately bad memes that I don't understand either :o

Millennials out, zoomers in it seems :o

Sparklingbrook · 20/02/2022 19:18

DS2 (20) laughed at the picture but said he wouldn't be rushing out to buy any. I said that was good because it's probably all sold out. Grin

I have always thought it was odd that Greggs didn't sell bread despite being a bakery.

Well that's something I could get on board with. We have a Waitrose with a Wine Bar locally.Wine

I just showed it to my teenager. She wants it so bad. That explains if I suppose 🤷

MiddleNameJane · 20/02/2022 19:24

I get that it's irony but it's just more short-lived, trend-led crap isn't it? Today's "must have" but with a definite sell by date, nobody will be wanting to continue to wear these until the end of their useful life. So just more waste for to be shipped to other countries for their people to deal with.
