Ryanair Cork to LGW going round and round.

The pilots set off unless air traffic controllers in the destination airport tell them not to.

That's awful that they haven't told them not to in this case.

Covered earlier..

UK airports don’t generally get closed…it’s down to the pilots/airline to consider the weather and if the decision is to go then ATC may well issue an arrival slot (as ShineTogether mentions)…it’s not really a case of airports telling pilots not to come.

The live feed is totally addictive. Also a bit terrifying that will be us in a couple of hours' time! Hopefully the worst will have passed by then

Well done Qatar on that note I have to go out, dd has a play date that we are now late for as I wasn't going anywhere til I saw what happened with that 😆. Hope I don't get invited on for coffee so I can get back
