Really poorly optimised mobile sites.

There are absolutely no excuses.

BlusteryLake · 29/01/2022 12:31

Roy Chubby Brown. Makes me sad that people are still willing to spend time and money on his drivel.

Lolly49 · 29/01/2022 12:36

My husbands to do list might as well be a not to do list.
Ds bloody inane whistling he got to 21 without doing it.

BlueBeeSpots · 29/01/2022 12:37

At work when I ask someone a question where a simple yes or no answer will suffice but instead they give me a 3 minute monologue about told irrelevant shit. Or when I know what a person is trying to tell me within the first 3 seconds but they go on and on and on and on. I just want to tell them to STFU and sum their situation up for them Angry

catinboots123 · 29/01/2022 12:42

People telling you their dreams (as in from sleep, not life goals)

RunningKatie · 29/01/2022 12:57

Tour de France
When shop websites list stuff but when you click on it, it’s out of stock ...
Calling the gp is another one..
Explaining my medical condition for people for them to then tell me they don’t know what a thyroid is 😩

Ds waffling about Pokemon he's made up.

Dp calling to see 'what's been done today' at 10am and then proceed to add stuff to my to do list which was set out so I could have a productive day with a reasonably clean and tidy house and everyone fed without fee like I'm running around like a headless chicken. Unlike him, I am capable of sitting down with a brew and doing nothing for an hour or so when I am at home and it's not a Sunday.

Creepy old men who try to peek into my tunic at work (I'm a carer. Just because they get old doesn't stop them being horny Envy)

My best friends partner. He is a total knob.

The idiots on the school run.

Ds's teacher. He's pleasant enough but bloody inept.

NHS Red tape.

Winter. It's just so fucking cold and dark and miserable ALL OF THE TIME and how is it not over yet? It feels like it's been winter for about a year. It's relentless and I hate it.

Colleagues talking about the soaps in work.

Some of the absolute shite dp watches on YouTube. Often Americans with the sort of grating voice that feels like its scraping the inside of your skull.

People interrupting me constantly when I'm trying to read.

DoubleYouOhEmAyEn · 29/01/2022 23:25

Sorry to be a MN stereotype but men thinking they can turn into women by the mere power of thought. Or surgery. You can't. Get over it.

DickMabutt73962 · 29/01/2022 23:29

@golddustwomen

My FIL calling jigsaws 'puzzles' - it fucking drives me mad. My OH asking me where something is without even attempting to look for it.
It is a puzzle?
shivabeaver · 29/01/2022 23:29

People talking about what they are going to eat, what they have eaten or anything about diets, its worse than dreams.

Small talk.

People saying the same things all the time, like if you know when a certain subject comes up, someone will tell the same old story. It makes me to eat my own head.

men people who never ask questions, even my youngest child who is 12 knows how to conduct a conversation, so many people I have met who are just fucking boring.

ChrissyPlummer · 29/01/2022 23:34

Crap weather - autumn/winter lasts for about 10 months. I hate rain/wind/cold.

Living somewhere where I have to drive to get anywhere else.

tunnocksreturns2019 · 29/01/2022 23:34

I love hearing about people’s dreams!

They can all tell me Grin

Someone who is working for me is making me lose the will to live. They announced last week that they feel demotivated and want more responsibility. Perhaps try saying “I don’t know how” a bit less often when asked to do something…

All sport. Lorries overtaking lorries (thanks pp).

School closures / late starts (again and again).

DS (6) taking 20 minutes of faff and much, much nagging, to get his pajamas on. (I am currently putting off doing bedtime as I type).

I have now been in America long enough to think that recipes with actual weight measurements are a real pain. Much easier to get out a specific-size measuring scoop. It took a while to turn to the dark side though.

stripeymonster · 29/01/2022 23:48

Paperwork - trying to find numerous essential documents which you haven't needed for years and have no idea where they could be.

Password loops and never ending log in - no I don't know my password or my username.

Paying for house and car maintenance which costs a fortune but nothing looks any different. Currently getting quotes for a new roof liner - clearly important but so expensive.

Cleaning - never ending and largely pointless because noone appreciates it unless you down tools for a month.

Toasterandjam · 29/01/2022 23:48

People who continuously complain to their local MPS about petty things. Use your time for something more useful.

SomePosters · 29/01/2022 23:49

Anti vaxxers

Modern medicine and especially vaccines are a testament to what humans can do when they work together

The WHO eradicated small pox.
It took 800 people ten years.

That gives me hope

I think I have to say our national broadcaster in Canada (CBC). They have basically three topics that they write about, over and over. They are of course admirable topics that are as politically correct as they could be.

But, it is tedious and depressing. I do lose the will to live because everything is so doom and gloom and Canadians are apparently terrible people. At least that is how it feels.

We need something more balanced with at least some outward focus.
