Having to dust regularly drives me insane. Also drivers who have no patience and tailgate other drivers.

Lndnmummy · 29/01/2022 00:49

Science fiction, endless "stand ups", people chewing noisly, really strong male perfume, my dh's endless faffing, my dh endless narrating his todo list. It gives me hives. His list is miniscule compared to mine and he goes on and on and on "so i need to finalise the congestion charge payments, oh and I also need to conclude the nectar point registration". And he sends me endless voice notes, they drive me insane. There are hundreds of them"hello, its just me. Just pulling up outside MS, tricky to get parking today". Followed by "hi, i was going to do petrol but then I thought I hetter nip to the dry cleaners and THEN do the petrol". He is kind and loving and brilliant in many ways but oh my lord i need a break.

Lndnmummy · 29/01/2022 00:54

So reading that back perhaps I ought to get back on sertraline.

NotsoNeurotypical · 29/01/2022 00:54

YouTube videos where they play with toys or play Roblox or Minecraft. So boring. And also weirdly high pitched and screechy. 😫

Stephan Fry's voice and he seems to do so much on audible 😤

My kids when they won't sleep, or when they fight with each other, or when they won't listen to me. Kids can be incredibly frustrating!

Being put on hold for ages.

Jeremy Clarkson's voice.

Boris Johnson's voice.

Hanger

My PMT and period pains which get worse every month

TMJ pain, cluster headaches and migraines. Unbearably painful.

When people slurp their drinks.

Potty training a child who has no idea how to "let it come out"

Gooseysgirl · 29/01/2022 01:13

Lorries overtaking lorries
DS talking about Roblox
DH moaning about his football team
Cricket
Boris
Anyone defending Boris
Airport security queues

Sunnytwobridges · 29/01/2022 01:15

I have to agree with you on these two
Downton Abbey

Opera music

Add to that
People showing me pics of their vacations

People going on and on about their kids

Crying babies/kids

Having to make appointments/schedule repairs for the house/car

People who humble brag

People that say "You know what I'm saying" and "Like that" at the end of almost all of their sentences.

Sharing my house with others (except my dogs lol)

And sure there are more.

Luckyelephant1 · 29/01/2022 01:16

The Zara app. So hard to scroll without accidentally going on to the next item and you can't even see the clothed properly anyway due to the ridiculous model poses.

Stationfork · 29/01/2022 01:18

All sport

The fucking school run. Why does it never end? 10 years I've been doing this shit

People blocking my fucking drive (live close to a school) especially when I have to go out or get back from the fucking school run.

Having to make dinner every day but child changing their likes and dislikes on a weekly basis. Tedious.

People being bitchy at work. One team guys. Let's just crack on.

My 3 year old repeatedly asking for a specific YouTube video of ‘colours’…and it never being the right one that I find. Repeat ad infinitum.

The corrupt political system in Britain and people just putting up with it.

halfsiesonapotnoodle · 29/01/2022 06:28

Queues
Agree with the pp who said about inches
Reading 'your' when the writer means 'you're.' (They have completely different meanings.)
Plumbers/builders telling me in great detail what they've done
Long-winded directions
Waiting for other people

oldestmumaintheworld · 29/01/2022 06:49

Oh my word, so many things. I'm getting old and very intolerant.
People who don't do talking. Be an adult and tell me what you want.
Teachers who go on about how terrible their lives are. Especially my sister in law. I want to say 'Give it up then, or shut up'.
The security guard at the local library who insists on asking everyone at the door what they've come for.
And I'm really sorry for this one, but vegans and people who are gluten-free and people who are attention seeking about food. I know it shouldn't annoy me, but it does.

MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat · 29/01/2022 07:00

My 3 year old wanting to constantly play role play games ‘you be mummy pig and I be George’ and having to act out the same scenarios over and over again.

Asking my 4 year old to get ready for school. After 10 mins of faffing around he gets one sock on, gets distracted by something and more faffing.

Thinking of and planning dinners, doing an online shopping order and then making them only for everyone to hate it.

Life.

PurrBox · 29/01/2022 07:05

Music that isn't classical music
Recipes that aren't in cups
Little circle going around on computer screen
People talking about their kitchen renovations
People talking about the social lives/emotional development of their dog or horse
The drawers in my cupboards filled with random collections of things that are impossible to classify

MarmiteyCrumpets · 29/01/2022 07:07

petalblossom · 29/01/2022 07:11

Reading the news

Adults who say 'skellington' instead of skeleton

Dh misplacing something because he's careless, then leaving it until the last minute to search for it and insisting someone must have moved it.

ivegotamillionkids · 29/01/2022 07:23

Cleaning bathrooms

The school run

DH who asks if I'm ok every 30 seconds

Having to go to work when I'd like to retire

Sport

Covid

People

I could go on for days...

FYI - cups are an American measurement, they have proper measuring cups over there and everything. Try looking up UK recipes to avoid this annoyanceGrin

onesweetlife · 29/01/2022 07:26

Working for a living. I can put up with most other things but I seriously hate my job.

Ecosralayce · 29/01/2022 07:27

ringing HMRC, trying to get them to sort out my tax code which they messed up back in October. Many phonecalls, several hours on hold and months of frustration later it still isnt sorted and the bs are still taking too much money off me. Angry
