What jobs do you enjoy doing in your household that no one else does?

I like cleaning the Guinea Pigs cage out. I do it once a week while they have their run around time inside. I always take it outside to clean and get great satisfaction giving them nice clean bedding and hay. I like being outside too. I’ve got it down to a fine art now.

DH and DD hate doing them but I love it.

I enjoy a good bathroom clean. And inside windows!

Hoovering and laundry.

Cleaning the fish tank out - we only have one elderly goldfish who's 12 now.
Also taking the vacuum cleaner apart to clean it all out.

My favourite thing is to clean dirty / muddy trainers and shoes. Love seeing them sparkling again.

I like hoovering too but really hate laundry.

Ooh I do love to Hoover properly , clean the windows, bleach stained things. Also clean the geckos tank, can have a right good chat with him/her while I clean up

I like ironing, a seat, some juice, and either music to listen to or The Last Kingdom to watch and I'll happily iron for hours.

I also like cleaning the washing machine drawer, love seeing it come up all clean and fresh.

We have communal bins/recycling here and I like taking the recycling out on Friday evenings.

Any diy jobs, I get a great sense of satisfaction from it! Same with gardening

I'm happy when my machine is full enough to put it on( live alone)
Love the smell of it drying on the airer( no garden) and refilling my wardrobe!

Also enjoy taking the rubbish out and having an empty bin

I love doing the laundry. Washing, hanging it out on the line, ironing and putting away.
Don’t really mind housework at all. 🤫 don’t tell everyone.

Hoovering, but only since getting the Dyson. I love watching it fill up with dust and fluff, very satisfying. Conversely will avoid mopping floors for as long as possible

guineapigs when they were alive, i enjoyed cleaning them out,

Cleaning the kitchen sink and taps. I give it a good scrub with pink stuff, rinse it down and then shine it up with a vinegar based spray. I love how it looks when it's all shiny.

I also love laundry and ironing, so satisfying lol

Hate vacuuming or window cleaning 😭

Ironing, I absolutely love it and could spend hours doing it. Even used to volunteer at a charity shop for years just ironing the donations all day, people thought I was strange but I just find it incredibly relaxing and I get lost in my own thoughts when I'm doing it

Cleaning out our guinea pigs. I love it. Their little nosy piggy faces while I do it, it's peaceful and a happy little job.

I quite like emptying the dishwasher (especially if everything is still warm).

It’s also quite satisfying emptying the lint filter. Although also gives me the rage that nobody else thinks of it.

Decluttering. I love a good clear out.

I hate all housework with a passion. I like the end result but hate the jobs themselves.

Descaling stuff with those limescale removed fizzing tabs.

My family are shocked it's even possible to like these jobs.
