Usually it’s all very run of the mill but there’ve been a couple of interesting ones today, The latest one is a post asking if anyone knows why M & S chicken pies have pork in them. I’m off to read the replies and to learn more :)

And there's also someone selling a job lot of 30 porcelain dolls. I like this game 😀

One of our neighbours, who has been given the name “Peter Stringfellow” because all the plants in his garden have string wrapped around them, is having a moan about dogs peeing on his rose bush. The roads bush is a lone, straggling plant on the corner of his garden. It is a natural target for scent marking.
He is fuming that anyone would allow their dog to pee there. The excessive string he uses to truss the rose bush up like a butcher’s joint, retains the scent of pee and this leads to more pee.
Instead of removing the rose bush (it really is way past its best) so there is nothing to pee against, he has fashioned a pee shield out of pallets. 😂
He has been ranting about this for ages, but today has been h telling people about his pee shield and how their dogs do not have his permission to pee on it. Amazing entertainment follows on the rights and wrongs of dog peeing on corners.

Someone posted a picture of a coffin dumped on the side of the road. Lots of shock, horror, speculation. They ended up calling police and it was just full of rubbish.

Latest post on mine is someone advertising to do photo shoots of people's cars!

Today they are moaning about a road being closed for two days. The very same road they have been demanding is resurfaced because of potholes. How dare the council fix the problem properly!

I've found NextDoor very useful when I needed recommendations for a locksmith, window cleaner, odd job man/man with a van etc.

If a post is of no interest, I don't read read it or responses, it's not obgligatory to read everything.

Nextdoor share your details with everyone. They write letters on your behalf without telling you to nearby people trying to get new business.
I really wouldn't touch them with a bargepole

😂 I love nextdoor, some absolutely hilarious posts on there.

I ended up with a load of random men on there inboxing me. Asking me for dates and pictures. I’ve now deleted it
