Old or new, smart or not. What are you enjoying wearing at the moment?

Mine are a woollen jumper, about five years old and with a small hole under one arm. But perfect for lazy weekends at home.

A pair of bamboo socks with birds on. I normally wear boring socks but these were a lovely present from a client.

An old Gudrun mac, a bit battered but still gets compliments.

Mustard cable knit roll-neck sweater from Kite. Colourful and warm in winter but also light enough to wear if you need an evening layer aat warmer times of year

Hell Bunny black checked skinny trousers - allow me to feel a bit punk without feeling to much like mutton!

Burgundy leather flat ankle boots with buttons from Jones - so comfortable and always get compliments

Seasidemumma77 · 15/01/2022 21:39

Sprout Organic pants, soooooo comfy

AnotherMansCause · 15/01/2022 21:45

My big coat. Didrikson, bought new last year. Warmest I’ve ever had.
Next light blue cable knit cardigan, purchased circa 2002.
My new walking boots. I was expecting them to take at least a year to wear in but no, comfortable after just a couple of months. And they were in the sale.

LubaLuca · 15/01/2022 21:46

A cowl neck sweater dress I've had for about 8 years. It still looks brand new, I wear it more than anything else I own, and it has pockets.

Cashmere wrist warmers I got for Christmas - they're a revelation.

Thermal vests from M&S - soft and thin with good scoop necks so they go under most things.

Namechangeforthis88 · 15/01/2022 21:47

I can only think of two, and they're both oversized hoodies.

Rainbowshit · 15/01/2022 21:50

Mint velvet jersey jumpsuit I got for £35 in the John Lewis sale.

Rib knit midi jumper dress from new look.

Black sweatshirt material coords (tracksuit! 😂) with a white stripe down the side from ASOS.

LondonWolf · 15/01/2022 21:51

Uniqlo seamless long down coat - Navy
ASICS Gel Kayano trainers - black & silver - SO comfortable. I don’t really run anymore so just wear them with leggings and they look great.
Oversize Red and Black plaid shirt - Gap

Pinchofnom · 15/01/2022 21:59

Anne Demeulemeester riding boots (perfect for long walks)
Sweaty Betty running leggings
Soft knit hoody from Alex Mills (stolen from my boyfriend)

BreatheAgain · 15/01/2022 22:01

Thought loungepants.
A long, soft hoodie from Next.
New PJs from Sainsbury's.

But if I have to include an item of actual clothing it would be a stretchy dress with pockets from Roman.

ParkheadParadise · 15/01/2022 22:05

North face long puffer coat
Superdry hoodie
Sweaty Betty leggings
And my Nike Air Max trainers.

SusanSHelit · 15/01/2022 22:07

Silk Paisley double layered hankerchief hem dress. It's a bit hippy but it's so swishy, and pretty and comfortable. It's cool in summer and warm in winter. It's in autumn colours so really suits me (I have red hair, Hazel eyes and warm undertones) It was bloody expensive but worth every penny.

Big dark green oversized chunky knit cardigan, far more flattering than it sounds and again, comfy and cozy.

Mustard yellow corduroy flares. I feel very 70s in them and the pockets/stitching make my rather generous bum look actually quite good. A feat no other pair of jeans or trousers has managed before or since.

MiddleAgedKick · 15/01/2022 22:07

Lilac dungarees from Lucy and Yak. Bought them in their sale last year and they are beautiful. Too cold for them now as I can't seem to style them with anything other than a pale tshirt and trainers. But they're still great

Itonlytakesonetree · 15/01/2022 22:15

Ankle length boucle coat that I bought in 1997. I love it though I do have Puff Daddy vibes when I wear it.
Silver beaded hip length kimono.
A grey midi skirt my mum bought me for my 21st birthday...I'm now 48 but still wear it often.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/01/2022 22:18

@SusanSHelit Your dress sounds lovely.

Slim flare dark indigo jeans from M&S
Faux fur coat from Fatface
Silk mix dress from All Saints

Uniqlo long duvet style coat (I'm 5ft 9 and it comes to my calves)

Paver fleece lined biker boots

Fake oodie from Costco

On reflection I'm really not a fan of being cold or uncomfortable as I get older

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 15/01/2022 22:37

A wool hoodie from the Anyday range at John Lewis. It's warm, comfy and surprisingly flattering, I have it in two colours.

Hush joggers. So comfy!

A lace trimmed UNIQLO Heattech cami. It keeps me warm and the lace looks cute when it peeps out under a jumper.

If I can add footwear too - A pair of Chelsea boot style short wellies from Matalan. They cost £12, are waterproof, extremely comfortable and have barely been off my feet since I got them.

Littlepies · 15/01/2022 22:44

Chelsea boots I got second hand on eBay.
A plain grey top from Anyday at John Lewis that I got in the sale.
And a really soft lovely lightweight hoodie from Stitch Fix

StillMedusa · 15/01/2022 23:31

Ariat langdale boots.. bought over a year ago and worn pretty much every day for walking the dog. They have stayed dry no matter what and are very comfy.
Running leggings..worn to walk said dog, but so much more comfy than my jeans.

Black knitted shawl I have had for years. Lovely for WFH next to the window and keeps me all cosy and warm

Asda push up figure shaping jeggings. So comfortable and make me look like I have some shape to my bum!

Knitted grey hooded loungewear from peacocks for the days I have no zoom meetings. So so comfy although my 17yo keeps liberating them from my drawers!!
