Saturday plans, love a nosey!

Morning all. Awake since 7 rest of house still snoozing, teens for hours more probably. Working tomorrow so up and already have a wash on, cuppa, then I’ll shower. Take dog for a stroll and into Homebase for some pots and compost to plant on a few houseplants that are pot bound. DH has gym this AM . Planning on a country pub this afternoon then I’ll sort dinner, pack work bag and early night. What’s your day looking like ?

Chilled day ahead. Still in bed, DD making me a latte. Need to walk the dog, do some cleaning and then make a meatball pasta bake for dinner.

Absolutely nothing planned 10 week old DS has yet to wake up this morning and DH left for work an hour ago so I’ve had a shower in peace, put a load of washing on, put the dishwasher on and I’m currently eating breakfast in bed with a coffee and my kindle. Reading Friday Night Lights (again!).
I think DH is only working a half day today so hoping we can visit my brother, sister in law and their children later on. If not, I expect I’ll take DS, and our dog, for a walk somewhere pretty.

Still in bed. Will head out shopping soon and have coffee and cake in garden centre with a voucher I have. Then, emptying out the shed...

Just unpack g my things from my holiday I'm meeting my friend at 11 for a coffee and cake.
Gym and swim after that.
I'm meeting dh late afternoon.ive not seen him in a week. I fancy going to a gig tonight. Theres a choice of a few I can still get tickets for so I'll see what DH fancies doing.

I'm up about to have a shower. Driving an hour away to my mums to help my DB sort out the house as it's quite cluttered. Then back home as DH has a gig tonight.

It's dds birthday today and she has requested a day of nothing at all. She wants a movie marathon from 10 which she's planned to end for masked singer and has dispatched daddy for Maccys breakfast. She has pizza for tea and out with grandma tomorrow.

T'other dd is out with a boy down the park and/or joining in the movie marathon.

I don't know what I'll do. Some yoga and a walk to town but we did all the big chores last night and clearly eating crap today so no cooking. I will probably sit on sofa for some movie but they are ones I really hate so not sure how long I will be able to stand it.

Up at 6.30am to get DS to school for 8am for a football match. Take DD to 8.30am athletics, followed by her swimming lesson at 11.30am. Back to school to collect DS at 1pm, drive for 1.5hrs to take him to a swim gala where he doesn't swim until 6pm. Field a call from his nutritionist at 3pm. Get back home around 8pm and collapse in a heap, with no wine because it's dry Jan

After mucking my horses out I’m going to ride the older one. He had some dental work to widen the gaps in his teeth on Tuesday so I want to see how he is now.
I’ll take the youngster out for a walk in-hand. She’s too young to ride and had her wolf teeth out Tuesday so I have to wait a while before putting a bit in her mouth, but she’s fine to take for a walk in a headcollar.
When I get home I’m going to do a few hours of overtime to pay for said dental work 😣

I'm at the hairdressers this morning, while DH takes DS to a party at a soft play. We'll have lunch at home and then DS will have his post-lunch nap while I try to get some bits of washing, cleaning and tidying done. Then we're at FILs this evening with some other family, so will have dinner, drinks, etc there.

Hairdressers at present then home to do some housework, make some soup and start decorating our bedroom. Recently moved and it’s nicknamed the Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen suite due to its decor!!!
Fake red wine, a big steak and Succession later. Tomorrow - a ten mile walk at the beach and some seafood from the local fish shop there.
No doubt mopping up DS hangover with a bacon sandwich as well

Playing in a national online bridge tournament at lunchtime. So having a leisurely bowl of porridge and fresh berries, catching up on MN, and planning a stroll round the village after picking up my paper.
After decades of working full time, and raising my DC as a widowed single parent, retirement is blissful “me time”!

Up at 7, straight out with the dogs while the coffee perked. Gave them breakfast and took my coffee back to bed where I still am as DC still asleep!

Need to do the first proper food shop of the new year today. Pretty much depleted my cupboard stocks so I'm making a list. I need another coffee then I'll wake DC and take them out for a full English breakfast before we get on with shopping.

More dog walking when we get back, DC having friends over so they'll be upstairs making TikTok videos/noise/watching Netflix. I'll get the tv to myself! Pizza and wine for tea.

I have a new book that I'm looking forward to starting, a nail appointment this afternoon and a lot of housework to do that I'll start sometime soon.

I'm trying to keep my step count up so I will go for a nice walk at some point too for an hour or so

Cosy day at home with the kids as it's freezing outside plus I feel like I'm coming down with something and can't be bothered to go out today. Going to work on a couple of projects I have ongoing, do some reading, maybe bake a cake and generally have a lazy day, busy week next week so I'm enjoying the quietness of the weekend

Already done up to the nines (very weird at this time of the morning!) as going for a bottomless brunch in honour of a friend's 50th - postponed from last year for obvious reasons!

Our pet decorator is popping round first to discuss repainting the skirting boards in readiness for us having new flooring.

After brunch? Not a clue.

I've been up with 1yo since 730, DH still in bed. Got 2 friends popping this afternoon to being birthday presents for DS who turned 1 yesterday. Got a lot of washing to put away too and then tonight I'm looking forward to watching masked Singer, maybe have a takeaway and a glass of wine

Just finished breakfast in our lovely campervan ...yes we are camping! It looks frosty out there..
Off out for a walk in a bit and we have tickets for a bit of cultural history later ...

Now bed being delivered today, so having a big sort out and clean in the bedroom ready to lay in my new bed all day long

Had a little lie in, DS gone for a walk with his grandad, cleaning and washing this morning before going to work for a bit. To save us reaching for the takeaway menu I've bought a pizza and some halloumi fries for tea because neither of us fancy cooking on a Saturday when we've usually got a busy day.

We’re just getting up to drive into London, to go to two plays. We’ll see one matinee and then go for a drink before seeing another play in the evening. We’ll probably get home around 1am and sleep until 12 tomorrow. We do this once or twice a month and have missed it more than anything during the pandemic, life is finally going back to normal!

Very lazy morning here, I’ve fed the pets and emptied the dishwasher but otherwise been looking at the internet and drinking tea!

Got to take the dog for a nice long walk and then we have to sort out DH’s tools and my craft stuff in the garage as they’re all in a mess.

Making curry for tea tonight and some home-fried poppadoms. Then an evening with the fire and something good on TV.

Dh took both boys off to the barbers at 8.30 this morning and they are still out so I think they have probably gone to Costa or McDonald's for a second breakfast.

I have packed all the bags (snacks, waterproofs etc) and am waiting for them to get home so we can go out to a country park as it is a nice clear day.

This evening when everyone is asleep I prepare a bit for an internal job interview I have on Tuesday.

I'm in London and waiting for DH to get back from the park run so we can go into the west end to get me a new iPhone. I've accumulated vouchers from TopCashback and a Covid test study to pay for it.

DCs are home from uni for the weekend DS is working today and DD is on a shoot as she does a bit of modelling.

We'll have home made pizza for tea tonight and then DCs are going out. We may go to the cinema but more likely to flop in the sofa! I love weekends!
