Same, I’d love to live by the sea..

Chesneyhawkes1 · 07/01/2022 16:58

Somewhere that's always warm

BeBesideTheSea · 07/01/2022 16:58

Me too

AlbertBridge · 07/01/2022 16:58

No. 25 in the lovely street I walk along every morning. We tried to buy it a few years ago but it fell through. It's changed hands twice since then. I'm still gutted.

EmmaH2022 · 07/01/2022 16:59

somewhere quiet.

AllTheSunshine · 07/01/2022 17:00

With the people they love.

NightmareSlashDelightful · 07/01/2022 17:00

Directly onto a loch. I go on holidays to a house that does this and it's so beautiful and relaxing.

qualitygirl · 07/01/2022 17:01

Somewhere warm...

I live by the sea...and in a rural quiet area. All I need now is sun 🤣

Hoolihan · 07/01/2022 17:01

In warm climates. Would just love to live somewhere with a guaranteed warm summer.

Also the countryside but only a fantasy English pastoral life from the 1950s, I don't want to have to drive everywhere or be surrounded by Tories 😂

danadas · 07/01/2022 17:02

In a house with land.

Sunsetsupernova · 07/01/2022 17:03

Somewhere warm. I saw a video on TikTok earlier of a family who had relocated from Scotland to the Bahamas and it looked dreamy. I could easily work remotely in my field. Just need to persuade DP....

Borracha · 07/01/2022 17:03

We live somewhere that is warm all year round (think 50 degrees in the summer) I am jealous of people that live in countries that have seasons! I miss tights, boots, coats…!

Sunsetsupernova · 07/01/2022 17:03

Sorry Barbados not the Bahamas!

Vampirethriller · 07/01/2022 17:04

In London. I left 8 years ago and I miss it.

Santaisstilleatingmincepies · 07/01/2022 17:05

I live by the sea. Love the view... But today it's bloody cold!

RampantIvy · 07/01/2022 17:05

By the sea, and who get proper summer weather in summer.

I get sick of people on mumsnet moaning about hot weather and who assume it is hot everywhere in the UK when it is grey and drizzly where I live.

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 07/01/2022 17:05

In Kensington

BHX3000 · 07/01/2022 17:07

In a beautifully decorated apartment, with a sofa or comfy chair to sit on.

Heruka · 07/01/2022 17:08

People who have close family members whom they like and feel supported by, living nearby to offer help with their kids and life in general.

broccolibush · 07/01/2022 17:10

In a freehold house. I hate being leasehold.

Skullycup45 · 07/01/2022 17:12

I live near the North Wales coast. Its a bit rubbish being stuck on the dual carriageway surrounded by caravans and motorhomes every weekend in the spring and summer.

Tried to get up Moel Famua on Monday and got stuck in the car park. Thankfully we were able to go on Tuesday when it was deadly quiet.

Threewheeler1 · 07/01/2022 17:18

In a house with a wiggly river/stream through the garden. Love rivers and willow trees and the sound of the water would be amazing (bar flooding etc!)
Yep, that'd do me. I'd whittle a big canoe out of an old tree stump using a spoon and potter around on the water Grin

ItRainedForever · 07/01/2022 17:21

... out of sight of any neighbours. I've also always hankered after a garden that goes down to a river with a little private jetty.

BrieAndChilli · 07/01/2022 17:35

… in hallmark movies where everyone knows everyone and get on really well instead of gossiping about each other and having angry parking wars! They always seem to have a town celebration every other week.

BoredZelda · 07/01/2022 17:36

Near my sister.
