Please can we chat about it on this thread :)

I've seen them 2009 at Glastonbury
2010 - Milton Keynes Bowl
2010 - V Festival

So epic, I often watch old videos on YouTube and think I would probably die if I went to a Prodigy gig now!

Happy New Year Prodigy fans ❤️

hairyspiderleg · 01/01/2022 03:31

I know I saw them on a new year's eve, in the point depot in Dublin, but wheter it was 94 or 95 I couldn't say, the support act was an Irish techno/dance act called the 4th dimension. Think my hearing came back maybe 2 days later, was one of the best nights ever!!

Furries · 01/01/2022 04:13

It was 1996 or 1997 at Brixton Academy, was lucky enough to have a backstage pass. Remember at one point Keith was hanging halfway up the scaffolding rack in the middle of the crowd. Blooming great night.

I remember the anticipation waiting for the release date for Fat of the Land, was so chuffed to get my hands on it and rush back him to the stereo!

Newcastle 2015 Sad really hope they tour again but not sure it’ll be the same without Kieth

Eslteacher06 · 02/01/2022 00:13

@TheGirlWithTheArabStrap...I've just seen your message. Of course! Foo fighters were the supporting act...how could I forget?! I was also 17 too...

GarlandsinGreece · 02/01/2022 00:29

1994 Manchester Academy.

Unreal live.

hadtoomanymincepies · 02/01/2022 00:32

I saw them 2009. Second row. Had a chunk of my hair pulled out. It was mental

littlebilliie · 02/01/2022 00:34

Saw them 1996 in Melbourne at the Big Day Out

nessnessness · 02/01/2022 00:46

First at IOW 2009 - absolutely blew my mind.

Then at victorious 2018 after the pouring rain stopped. What a night.

MajorNeville · 02/01/2022 01:15

Several times back in the day, it's all a haze tbh but I know I saw them at the rezerection, I've googled and that was on in '92 and '93, I went to both but don't know which they played at. I saw them at Donnington Amnesia, which was '91, could've sworn that was later, which is funny as it was amnesia! Fnar fnar. I saw them a fair few times more throughout the 90's but I had dc1 in 2001 and babysitting became an issue!

catfunk · 02/01/2022 01:19

1997 as the fat of the land was released in a big arena - brilliant. I wore silver trousers.

Queenie6655 · 02/01/2022 01:20

@Luckystar1

I saw them at Oxegen in the Curragh in Ireland. Probably in 2006 I think.

Class!

Same here

Was it 2004? Can't remember

catfunk · 02/01/2022 01:23

@ipswichwitch

Saw them at Newcastle arena I think in 1997 - was at uni and me and a flatmate took a Greek flatmate and his friend along. Was the first gig they’d ever been to and it was immense! We had an absolute blast, and I’m sure we could still hear them 3 days later 😂 Second time was at V, maybe 2008? Again they were epic. I’d read this thread late last night and had to blast their music on the way to work this morning, boss asked why I looked so happy coming to work today!
@ipswichwitch me too - can you remember who was the support? Red Snapper or Lamb ?
XiCi · 02/01/2022 01:37

Glastonbury 1995. Still think about it now. Mind-blowing gig.

SquatBetty · 02/01/2022 01:53

Glastonbury 1995 as well. That was when Keith rolled around the stage in a zorbing ball thing?

I sadly don't recall much of it due to the Es! Am sure it must have been great though

Fiftyand · 02/01/2022 02:53

We saw them at Knebworth and they were much better than Oasis! Also saw them in Nottingham 2018 and they were brilliant! It was like an old school rave-such a great night.

echt · 02/01/2022 02:54

I never saw them, but my late DH did, and often sang and danced to Fire Starter for my edification. :o
He died before Keith Flint took his own way, and would have been gutted at his death.

SkyM0vingCl0ud · 02/01/2022 09:01

In Brighton

FredaFox · 02/01/2022 09:12

First saw them at v96 then at the gmex in 96 supported by foo fighters!
Saw them many times after that until 2018 no tourists
Even if they tour again I wouldn't go, won't be the same without Keith 😢

Pebbledashery · 02/01/2022 10:42

I can't even imagine what it would be like without Keith at a show.
I was watching an interview with the Prodigy a while ago and they said they never rehearse for their shows as its all spontaneous, I literally couldn't even imagine what a live show would be like without him.

TheGirlWithTheArabStrap · 02/01/2022 21:38

@Eslteacher06 😊 I was so pleased to get the Foo Fighters night rather than Red Snapper (who I'm sure we're great too) it was so exciting!!

Confusedandanxiety · 03/01/2022 00:31

1993, Preston Poly (now known as the university of Central Lancashire) I was in sixth form

PinniGig · 03/01/2022 00:40

Saw them at Glastonbury in 95 and in 99 I met Keith Flint in a Portakabin getting a cup of tea and looking at the boards when he was racing at Elvington. Nicest, most polite and softly spoken guy ever as well.

minipie · 03/01/2022 00:51
