Please can we chat about it on this thread :)

I've seen them 2009 at Glastonbury
2010 - Milton Keynes Bowl
2010 - V Festival

So epic, I often watch old videos on YouTube and think I would probably die if I went to a Prodigy gig now!

V97 (now V festival) in Leeds. I was so so excited and they were incredible.

1998 T in The Park. I was right at the front and Keith walked along the railings in front of us, and I got to touch his legs. Was a brilliant gig!

Brighton Centre 1997. Sweaty.

Victorious 2018. Went on a whim just to see them, as they were headlining Sunday night. People were giving their tickets away as it had rained torrentially all weekend and was still bucketing down Sunday so I got one last minute.
It stopped raining half an hour before they went on. Amazing set.

So pleased I went given the sad news the following year.

Reading festival in 1998. Beastie Boys played too, I think they had some kind of argument as Beastie Boys didn't want them to play Smack my Bitch Up. But they did anyway grin
I lost my friends but had an amazing time. Met a cute guy who worked at the NME.*

Yes! I was there! I remember this happening. I was trying to remember the date. I just remember the Beasties slagging them off about Smack your Bitch up. I was scared!! But they did have a point tbf.

Battersea Power Station, ninety-something.

Backstage AAA pass and met Keith. Delightful man and just as lovely as everyone says. I've met a shed load of famous people and he's one of the nicest.

MenopauseSucks · 03/01/2022 04:31

I saw them in London in early 90s when Keith still had his long locks & I thought he was well lush! I was pretty smitten.

chuffoff · 03/01/2022 04:38

Saw them at v festival in the 90's and at Brixton but most memorable was when they supported Oasis at Knebworth. I was lucky enough to be right at the front and at one point Keith was standing on the barrier in front of me and I will never forget his sweaty shin millimetres from my face. They were mind blowing that day though, I still have the review I wrote about them and the rest of the day afterwards.

@MrsTerryPratchett Wasn't he just? When we met him at the track day racing it really took me aback how softly spoken, well mannered and just lovely he was.

Had a cup of tea in a little shitty foam cup and plastic stirrer thingy then stayed in the Portakabin cos it was too cold to be dicking about outside and he could keep an eye on the boards there.

I didn't know he was into bikes / racing at all until then.

2017 Brixton Academy. Soaked in beer from the crowd and dancing but my God what a gig!!

FrankiesCheeseTruckle · 03/01/2022 16:40

This is just brilliant and an amazing tribute to a hugely influential band.
I would love to be in that choir! Can't sing a note mind.... 😬
