NYE Dinner - what are you having

It's me, DH and DS18 fro dinner this year, I have a bottle of Champagne but need inspiration for food..... what are you having?

To see the bells in with are going to a friends party, so will likely be slow cooked beef dips, curry and other party foods.

For NYD as is tradition in most Scottish households, steak pie, (made from scratch) mushy peas and Scottish broth soup.

We’re having smoked salmon blinis and starters, fillet steak and chips then chocolate mousse

Nyd will be very hungover so definitely pizza

Chinese takeaway for us too. I'll over-order so we have plenty of leftovers for New Year's Day too. It's just me and DC so pjs and Harry Potter marathon. Might open a bottle of wine later in the evening.

I'd love a Chinese takeaway but it's a 30min drive to collect so highly inconvenient 😂

Beef eye fillet with creamy garlic mash and veges, followed by creme brulee. After robust discussions and negotiations.

I've ended up with a fillet steak, a sirloin steak, a rib eye steak and I'll do a platter with bernaise sauce, chips, spinach, asparagus, mushrooms and grilled tomato :) Can't wait

Lamb with flatbreads and mezze-style stuff. Will put it out like a buffet and we will graze on it throughout the evening.

Was meant to be going to an Italian with my friend but she has pissed me off so Im staying home.
Got some of the Iceland party food packs so chicken satay, samosas, spring rolls etc. 2 bottles of fizz. So Im planning to get glammed up,get dd to do my makeup and have a party solo.
