I’ve just eaten more than half a dozen Cornish wafers with butter & vintage Red Leicester. So moreish! Need to stop though as we’re having bangers, mash, peas & gravy for tea. Had a quiet day but a nice one. DD13 ate lunch out with a friend then brought her back for the afternoon. DH was going to go cycling but ended up watching a new Star Wars thing instead. I went into town to take some money out of the bank (waiting for a new card so this is the only way I can get any cash). Bought next year’s “ special” Christmas cards half price eg Mum & Dad, husband etc & got sis in law’s Christmas pressie in the Boots sale. I started clearing our bedroom out yesterday so it now looks more of a mess than before; thinking very hard about continuing before I put the rabbits to bed. I am being ruthless & hope to take several bags to the Air Ambulance & Hospice shops. Still can’t believe how much stuff we have! I need Stacy Solomon to come in! Probably watch The Voice Kids later. A Star is Born appeals to me but not to DH so I’ll watch that another time.

We are packed and ready to go on holiday tomorrow morning. Dinner is roast chicken, coleslaw, apple salad and chips. I also made banana and toffee ice cream with leftover cream and mushy bananas.

DD is sleeping having been out at a friends last night and today

I'm about to pick up a new crochet project. Will be visiting the fridge shortly, to see what's there to be had...probably cheese 😋

Both girls are upstairs Minecrafting.

Went sledging this morning. Home now for bacon and Lentil soup. Kids watching Ben and Holly. Me and DH on cellphones having a break. Will have a walk in a bit then start dinner, roast beef.

Just had chicken flippers, oven chips and beans for dinner followed by chocolate log and ice cream. 2nd G and T on the go. Need to nag DS to get in the bath. DH is out at football tonight

Just made sausage pasta for tea, dp cleaning kitchen 😁, quick bath, then kids, dp bath then finally sit down. No idea what to watch tonight. Took dog for walk up the fields this afternoon, never known wind like it! Ddog was frightened and nearly blew away - as did I!

On day 7 of 10 isolating, everyone has cabin fever.

DD(14) has astounded us all and actually got up to go for a shower thank heavens.
And I am eating a turkey sandwich channel hopping and realising that I would never survive in captivity

We all have covid. DD is the spreader after going to winter wonder land.
No one has had a dinner properly since Xmas eve. It's a heavy cold with no appetite or energy.

We are mainly sleeping and sitting about for the last 6 days, it's shit and I'm away from work till next week - I tested positive on Wednesday.

My DC are pretending to be cats and making a yowling noise. My actual cats are not impressed. I am hoping to get DC2 into bed very soon.

Took ds training this morning. I then got a really bad headache!

Put his new furniture together when it arrived and sorted his bedroom. Made dinner. Did some washing and tidied.

Also updated all my notebooks and diary for the next few weeks.

Now sat on sofa on Mn with horrid acid reflux and backache and my left thigh feels like it's spasming whilst ds games online with friends.

Back to training before it's even light again tomorrow so chilling now.

I am eating all the biscuits (again) and watching TV. In my head I'm planning a romantic short break for my wedding anniversary. Happy.

Right now, we are eating tea, which is turkey ramen. The DC cooked it, and we're cosily snuggled up in front of the tv, and chatting.

My son (18) has 3 friends round here and they have taken over the kitchen making home made fried chicken. Dh is working. I am wasting time on my phone.

Eldest dc out to dinner with friends, just put younger dc to bed, just going to sit and watch tv tonight as we're all under the weather and tired after a late night up chatting

We're all watching TV. Dd1 took dog for a walk earlier. Dd2 has mostly been in bed. I've been working.
I've done my best to eat the Xmas chocolate . Debating between reading or an early night after I've finished watching tv

I've been working today & now sitting watching Below Deck Med. Ate Asian tapas for dinner & Christmas quality street for pudding.
Kids are with their dad so I'm contemplating tackling their bedroom.....Just one more episode....and maybe a g&t

DS2 has gone off for a belated (covid-delayed) Christmas with his dad. DS1 is still here as he's working.

The cat is upstairs, asleep on our bed. I suspect I left the heater on up there and that she's basking in a tropical paradise.

I'm on the sofa, DH is in the armchair. We're both watching "The Accident" on Netflix but I can't muster any sympathy for the characters, so I've started secretly MNing.

I'm trying my best not to eat all the Quality Street.

Started decluttering the house today which I always find very cathartic. Will finish it off tomorrow and then head to the tip. Very quiet evening - had pad thai for dinner, DP is now watching the football, and I'm browsing the internet for some new picture frames and a 2022 calendar.

DS is playing on the VR headset. DD1 has just finished the dishes and is heading home to her house. DD2 is going to bed as she's up at 5 for work.

I'm crocheting a blanket for woolly hugs with a glass of wine and DH is putting the bins out. Oh the glamour!

We should be watching the new spider man, but it appears I booked for yesterday

So we headed off to our little holiday lodge early, so I’m waiting for my husband to wake up from a danger nap in the car.

I'm in the bath. Dh and dss have just stopped welding and come inside - or at least I think they have because the garage tunes have stopped.

Dd is watching friends on my bed and ds is playing with the dog and monopolising the living room tv.

Dd and I had a girly day shopping today while ds went to a friends. So everyone is a bit tired.

I brought home a takeaway after shopping so I haven't had to cook either. Great day!
