Let's say Christmas eve until the 27th.

You have 5 foods only and as much of them as you want. What are your 5 foods?

There will be absolutely no health concerns and you will put on no weight over those 3 magic days

M&S cheese cider bake
Fresh crusty bread
M&S trifle
Sprouts
Roast potatoes

BeyondOurReef · 21/12/2021 11:10

Chocolate, cheese, crackers, bananas and blueberries. We’d all survive on that. And the toddler would go revolt. 🤣

RJnomore1 · 21/12/2021 11:10

Roast potatoes
Brussels
Fruit and fibre
Some good quality chocolates
Yorkshire crisps

Am I allowed milk with my cereal? If not I’ll swap it out, I thought some fibre would be good 😂

BeyondOurReef · 21/12/2021 11:10

Not revolt.

BiscuitLover3678 · 21/12/2021 11:10

Cheeses (many), my DH’s homemade ciabatta, turkey (this year! I much prefer goose), potatoes, chocolate.

I take it drinks aren’t included, as they aren’t a food...

Red wines, port, sherry, Prosecco/champagne/other sparkling wines, cognac, grand Armagnac, whisky, bailey’s, cherry wine, cranberry gin liqueur, apricot brandy liqueur, aquavit. Plus a few more as I’m sure I’ve left some out!

HollyandIvyandAllThingsYule · 21/12/2021 11:17

Oh and some orange juice for the Buck’s Fizz!

GuyFawkesDay · 21/12/2021 11:17

Cheese
Crusty bread
Trifle
Pigs in blankets
Chocolate

Then obviously wine etc but that's not food so not included 😜

randomsabreuse · 21/12/2021 11:17

Stuffing, Chocolate, Goose, mince pies, roast potatoes!

afaloren · 21/12/2021 11:17

Roast potatoes
Cheese
Pickled onions
Pigs in blankets
Homemade Yule log

I’m assuming I can also have as much wine as I want Xmas Grin

HollyandIvyandAllThingsYule · 21/12/2021 11:18

Hmmm might have to swap out the chocolate (😭😭😭) for some eggs for breakfasts.

Also do we have access to staples like milk sugar and flour?

Shallwegoforawalk · 21/12/2021 11:19

No calories you say?

Cheese (many types)
Pigs in blankets (2 foods in one)
Parsnips dripping in honey and sesame seeds (again getting that extra food in there)
Proper pork pie with cranberries in it
Hotel Chocolat massive box

Hemingwayscatz · 21/12/2021 11:20

Roast potatoes
Boursin
Cranberry Wensleydale
Pringles
Cinnamon buns

HollyandIvyandAllThingsYule · 21/12/2021 11:20

Actually no I’ll keep the chocolate. - we can have long lie ins, skip breakfast altogether and have a cheese based champagne brunch every day.

WhatScratch · 21/12/2021 11:22

Christmas makes it tricky. Non Christmas is easy - natural yoghurt, carrot, humous, tuna, broccoli. For Christmas?

Roast potatoes
Cauliflower cheese
Veggie sausages
Mince pies
Chocolate
