Let's say Christmas eve until the 27th.

You have 5 foods only and as much of them as you want. What are your 5 foods?

Roast potatoes
Sausages
Roast lamb
Cheese
Rocky road (or brownies!)

If we include drinks then white wine please!

This is going to sound strange but I have autism and am serially monogamous to certain foods.

This week it is: pizza, pasta, pears, potatoes and Percy Pig sweets. I have no idea why all start with the letter 'P' as it's a question of craving carbohydrates in the cold weather rather than the names of the foods.

Goodness only knows what it will be next week.

Lulu1919 · 21/12/2021 13:49

Cheese
Fruit
Mince pies
Roast potatoes

Goose, stuffing, roast potatoes, bread sauce and the heavenly brown butter and courvoisier mince pies from Waitrose (with cream).

I have autism too and thought this shouldn't be hard to pick just five! Plus I eat all my food as separately as possibly, so the five don't even need to go with each other Grin

Oh, yes. I never eat foods together - it's only ever one thing at a time. I'm autistic but I'm not a heathen.

RunRunGingerbreadMan · 21/12/2021 15:21

Roast potatoes
Gravy
Chocolate biscuits
Crisps
Dip

PanettoneSeason · 21/12/2021 15:44

@BiscuitLover3678 OP - I need to know where we stand on drinks 🤔 Given that there are no health implications I’m assuming that substituting water with Gravy as my drink for the day is absolutely acceptable? 🤔🤣🤣

I’ll take:

Sprouts
Roasties
Sage & Onion Stuffing
Homemade Sausage Rolls
Hotel Chocolat Signature Cabinet

FixItUpChappie · 21/12/2021 15:48

Turkey
Mash potato
Broccoli casserole
Cranberry sauce
Gravy

Yum 😋

Aspiringmatriarch · 21/12/2021 15:53

Does this include drinks? If so I'll have to be boring and say water as one of mine.

If Christmassy foods only I would go for pigs in blankets, parsnip roast, turkey, gravy, and satsumas.

SueblueNZ · 21/12/2021 16:10

My scientific analysis tells me that the MN top festive food is roast potatoes.

PupInAPram · 21/12/2021 16:12

Crusty bread
Butter
Satsumas
Camembert
All the chocolate 😁

MakkaPakkas · 21/12/2021 16:18
