Celebs who are attractive in one role but not others

Watched the Princess Bride with Cary Elwes for the first time today - HOLY SMOKES!!! He is gorgeous in it! I’ve never ever once found him the least bit attractive in anything else he’s been in but crikey I almost swooned when he came on screen with his floppy blonde hair and Zorro outfit 🤤

Who else is only ever attractive in one role?

Also Damien Lewis, but only ever as Brody in Homeland.

Henry Cavill only as The Witcher
Viggo in his Strider persona, not interested once he’s cleaned up and embraced being Aragorn
Oded Fehr in The Mummy 1&2 as Ardeth Bay.

Aaron Eckhart, super sexy in Erin Brockovich but nothing else.

Johnny Depp is only attractive with a beard/stubble, and longer hair.

Most men look better with beards IMO. DH has shaved his off twice in all our years and I hate it! He looks like a totally different person.

I always thought Adam Driver was extremely weird looking but reassessed when I saw The Last Duel. Basically dress anyone as a knight (even a nasty rapey knight) and I’ll reconsider.

Also, I’ll take Jeremy Irons with facial hair only please (heavy Victorian sideburns in French Lieutenant’s Woman are acceptable, clean-shaven and ultra-skinny in Brideshead is not).

Agree with Jon Hamm as Don Draper. I didn't recognise him in Bridesmaids, he's obviously a good actor but fuck, how can he be so hot in one role and so obnoxious (deliberately) in another?

Controversial I suspect but Andrew Scott as Lord Merlin. Every other role I just see Ant and Dec merged together and while I loved Fleabag I thought the so-called 'hot priest' was a complete fuck up. Lord Merlin on the other hand is sexy as fuck and genuinely cares about Linda.

Viggo Mortensen isn't remotely sexy as Aragorn and you're all barking, but he is sexy in 'Eastern Promises'. Even in a tracksuit. Dare I say - especially in a tracksuit.
