I'm staying in as my DD was sick through the night 😭

I'm still in bed as I went on a two hour beach ride on horseback yesterday and my bum hurts Grin

DH is up with the dog and will take him for a walk shortly - I doubt I'll move much beyond the sofa once I've dragged myself up and into the shower!

We're stuck in for the last day of dd's covid isolation 😭 and I'm so done with it! Have done breakfast and basic parenting, and now back in bed Grin while the dc play on computers.

Might declutter my wardrobe in a minute...

Woke at 5, HIIT done by 7.15, dog walked. Now for a scalding shower, then to brave the shops for the final few pressies.

Then tonight - The Big Wrap. Accompanied by The Box of Delights.

I'm sitting on the sofa contemplating getting dressed and ready to pick my OH up from the airport on his return to the UK.

I've bought a pizza for tea.

I've got bread rising waiting to be cooked.

And I've just finished a coffee.

Lazing around and feeling tired and achey after yesterday's booster shot.

Going to have a lovely stew later though, can't wait! Possibly a bit tragic that that's the highlight of my weekend

Just made a chocolate orange cake and got a chilli in the slow cooker for this evening. Just about to make sausage barns for everyone, and then will be nipping out it see family. Feeling quiet smug because everything for Christmas has been bought and wrapped. I'm not usually this organised, and the weekend before Christmas is normally manic!

Up, showered and dressed. Got my booster yesterday and have a very sore arm.
Planning to clean bathroom, do the grocery shopping and so meal prep for work lunches next week.

Meeting my friend at lunch for cheese and wine will be lovely! Then home for stew for tea and settle down with my book or a film.

Lazing in bed, have achy arm after booster yesterday but will get up shortly. Going to tackle house bits and pieces, not going anywhere now until Xmas in order to protect it so we can see my parents over Xmas. All shopping is done and food shopping collected yesterday so may make a start on the cheese and wine later 😂

I'm in isolation for the next 2 days. So sick of it. Might clean the bathroom. DH isolation ended at midnight, so this is his first day of freedom! He is taking DS Christmas shopping as DS has also been isolating, then stuck inside while we had to isolate too.

Got a tiny gin induced headache, so I shall be mostly pottering around at home doing some housework and laundry but taking it steady. This week coming is going to be hectic, so I want to make the most of the last bit of peace and quiet.

Dp is at work and eldest ds is still in bed. Trying to convince middle sc to come out with me somewhere but he's determined he's going out to play with his friends. Me an baby dd are watching peppa and I'm trying to decide how early is too early to eat a couple of the cornflake cakes I made yesterday. I had to wrap a few up and hide them for myself or I wouldn't have got anymore.

I am just getting up to a bacon sandwich and a cuppa. Meeting a friend late morning to go for a dip in the sea and then meeting up with all DH's family for a pre-Christmas pub lunch.
I have friends coming up to stay this evening, staying until later in the week which is a godsend as I have been worrying about how to entertain my two younger boys for a whole week leading up to Christmas. The adrenaline is high in this house!

Dropping my teenager off to her friends for cinema and lunch. Then I'll be using those few hours to dash around and collect all my Christmas shopping from various Collect Plus and Hermes pick up points! Also need to do a big Tesco shop. Not a single slot available for click and collect or delivery until after new year with any local supermarkets here.

Might start on some wrapping tonight but also have lots of school marking to do before tomorrow.
