I'm staying in as my DD was sick through the night 😭

DH and I have just finished organising the spare room for adult DD to sleep in over Christmas.

Going out for a walk in the woods with Doggo shortly.

This afternoon might be a lazy one but if I am restless I will do some present wrapping.

Just put the food shopping away and had warm croissants and a caramel latte for breakfast. DH has taken DS 4 Christmas shopping to buy my gifts! I'm getting DD1 to have a nap as she has been down with a sickness bug the last few days. Lots of present wrapping to do this evening and going to finish watching Showtrial with chocolate! Had booster jab yesterday so head is feeling a bit fuzzy 😩

Normally my contribution is crap to threads like this is rubbish, but I’ve got a good one today so will share-

The elf on the shelf (DH) bought home this morning after work a huge selection of muffins, cinnamon wells, croissants, and pains au chocolat and mini jams in all flavours!!
So I’ve laid it all out with cups for tea and candle light for a lovely Christmas breakfast with the kids! It looks amazing and we enjoyed every crumb-stuffed and happy!!

Will walk the dog, do a Lego day and then watch a Christmas movie tonight.

Just baked a batch of mince pies for our Christmas party with family later. We are all doing different things on Christmas Day so this is our get together and will exchange gifts.
Still need to iron and do a final tidy, but coffee first.

Had a nice lie in, made some Nigella'a Christmas morning muffins, had some for brekkie will freeze the rest for Xmas Eve.

Need to go into town for some new school shoes for DD.

Few odd jobs around the house and then roast beef for dinner.

Horrible weather so hoping the DDog only needs a short walk today after a mega long walk yesterday!

Currently freezing my arse off watching 8yo DS at his outdoor hobby. We're meeting friends at a Christmas market this afternoon then home for a hot bath and Christmas movie. He's still at school until Thursday so I've got the usual uniform ironing etc to do tonight!

Delighting in still being in bed after a term of leaving the house at 7am.

Tidying the house the. off to Christmas market with my girls then home for wrapping, fridge organising, mince pie & red cabbage making.

Catching up with cleaning after endless days of covid isolation….bit of wrapping and then the panto this evening

Going back to bed, I feel rough after having my booster yesterday but nothing much planned. I cancelled my lovely lunch out earlier ☹️.

Finalising my Christmas Tesco delivery - won't touch it again after today. Then baking mince pies, apple sauce and cranberry sauce with the girls. Possibly something else too - we'll see!

Gammon in the slow cooker for tea. Not sure what with yet 🤷‍♀️

We need some spuds so will nip to the shop at some point, I'll probably buy wine too 🍷

I need to crack on with my latest crochet project too; it's a praying mantis for dd2 to unwrap for her birthday & the promise of a real one when the weather's not as cold.

Sounds like there's lots of lovely plans in place for people today! I'm sat in PJ's still watching some cheeses Xmas movie on Christmas24! Must get up and tidy round soon

Woke late so feel all behind. Listening to Graham and Maria on Virgin then I’ll shower, take dogs for a stroll and then do some general tidying.
Teens still asleep and will be for hours. Pork chops for dinner and some Christmas baking and wrapping. Need to list later what I’ve still to do before the big day as working most of this week. Gin later to relax and some TV

Lazy morning here after a full on week. Got a few prders to collect this afternoon then prob wrapping pressies and trying to get slightly organised for next week.

Grocery shopping. Was going to go tomorrow to avoid as many people but I have deliveries due then and I need stuff before Tuesday. DH is working and DD is going into Edinburgh with friends.

I have a new bed arriving so will make that up with fresh new sheets, a lovely bolster pillow and will probably lounge in it until I have to go for my booster jab later in the afternoon.

In bed nursing my newly broken arm with painkillers and old bbc middlemarch on the iPlayer. DP taking dd 2 to her boyfriends shortly. Will do a bit Christmas craft with DSS 2 later (with one hand). Loads of stuff left to do for Christmas but I'm useless now so. have sort of given up on it.

Going out for lunch with DH to cheer us up because we should have been going to a big family party but fucking Omicron has ruined that. I was going to wear a sparkly dress and heels and everything.

Then need to pop to M&S to get some bits and easy, yummy food. Determined to try and finish my festive jigsaw tonight.

I'm staying home today. Ds is having a pyjama day and I'm doing a bit of cleaning to get the house ready for Christmas. We will probably watch a movie later and have some Christmas treats. A nice lazy Sunday overall.

DD has just gone off to her dads for 2 days . DH is in the bathroom and I'm lazing in the spare room with some of the cats. I think today's highlight will be a trip to M&S for some nice food for the next couple of days and an early night with a book. Have a hot bamboo massage booked for tomorrow which I'm ridiculously excited for

Just got back from taking the DC to scoot round at the velodrome at the park.

Now DS2 and I are watching the Highway Rat and DS1 is playing a Danger Mouse game on my laptop. Will heat lunch in a minute (left over veggie lasagna)

This afternoon/evening DH is working overtime so am going to DMs with the DC to write Christmas cards and have an early dinner.

It's very foggy here, so I'm not bothering to go out. I've changed the bed, had the washer on twice. Just hoovered my skip of a car, shampooed the seats cleaned the dashboard and panel etc. Just going to hoover and polish all through the downstairs, then use my steam mop (laminate flooring) and polish.

Just me and the kids today. We all have an awful cold (not covid) and DD(7m) is really struggling. The boys got all wrapped up and played in the garden for half an hour then came in for hot choc and a snack. We're watching Cloudy with a chance of meatballs while the baby sleeps on me. Ive amended my sainsburys order for Tuesday but also thinking we will need to pop to Lidl today as its Dh birthday tomorrow and I have no eggs for his cake. And we just used the last of the hot chocolate. Didnt want to go out but we might have to.
