Emilia, Sienna or Rosie?

I'm having a baby girl soon and I'm thinking of one of the following names. Which name do you prefer? I don't mind that these names are popular as my surname is quite unusual. Thanks 😊

Emilia Rose (Emmy for short)
Sienna Grace
Rosie Florence

Oh God, they are all lovely! I'm no help Grin
Pull them out of a hat?

TenThousandSpoons · 11/12/2021 08:36

Sienna but I’d go for Sienna Rose.
All lovely though.

Emilia Rose - plus Emmy is a lovely nick name.

Sienna is very popular with chavvy people. It seems to be the number one name.

So Emmy or Rosie

IncompleteSenten · 11/12/2021 09:12

They're all lovely.
My favourite is Emilia.

Bloatstoat · 11/12/2021 09:16

Lovely choices! I like Emilia Rose the best - my youngest has a similar name and is also Emmy for short, I love it Smile

whatamilookingfor · 11/12/2021 09:21

Love Emilia best

dementedma · 11/12/2021 09:23

All lovely but as I have a Rosie, it gets my vote

freelions · 11/12/2021 09:27

Rosie Florence gets my vote

Emilia is very pretty but there are SO many E names around that she may get lost in a sea of Ella/Emily/Evie etc

I'm afraid I agree with @MaybeAMoaner regarding Sienna

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 11/12/2021 09:33

Emilia but not shortened to Emmy - although if you have two boys called Oscar and Tony then I absolutely change my answer because Oscar, Tony and Emmy would be great (can you get a dog called Grammy…?)

Rose is a very pretty name.

Hen2018 · 11/12/2021 10:30

Emilia looks like a mash up of Emily and Amelia and reminds me of the rash called milia.

I’d choose Rose.

Wrongaddress · 11/12/2021 10:33

Rosie is the best.

Not keen on Sienna and Emilia will get muddled with Amelia

AtomHeartMotherOfGod · 11/12/2021 10:36

Emilia.

I don't know why but I can't stand Rosie, despite my daughter calling all her babies it - she obviously loves it...

Agree about Sienna being a bit chavtastic.

StampOnTheGround · 11/12/2021 10:37

Rosie is my fave, definitely not Sienna

Pegasussnail · 11/12/2021 10:37

I'd go for Emilia

nextdoorslawnmower · 11/12/2021 10:41

Rosie.

Definitely not Sienna

MobyDicksTinyCanoe · 11/12/2021 10:42

I like all of them. Sienna NN Sunny would be lovely tho.

MincePieIceCream · 11/12/2021 10:44

Rosie

CampagVelocet · 11/12/2021 10:44

Emilia will be confused with Amelia and is bland. Sienna was nice but is becoming ubiquitous. Rosie is very nice and not too popular, but everyone can spell it. So Rosie.

Maireas · 11/12/2021 10:51

Definitely not Sienna.
Rosie is nice

Camomila · 11/12/2021 11:18

Rosie (though I personally would put Rose or Rosa on the BC)

Or Emilia

StrawberryJamSandwiches · 11/12/2021 11:23

I loved Sienna Confused

NannyR · 11/12/2021 11:24

I love that spelling of Emilia, much prefer it to Amelia. I really like Rosie too, personally I would put a longer Rose- name on the birth certificate, or just Rose.
