I love the crazy conspiracy theories. So my favourite ones are that birds arent real and that Paul McCartney is dead and the man we see now is a lookalike.

If the moon landing was true, why has it never been done again?

What's the point?

It proved it could be done. If they have found vast reserves of something useful they would have gone back.

It was vastly expensive in terms of money and the toll on astronauts' bodies.

Much more useful research has been done on space stations, you can get astronauts to tot he ISS in hours rather than days.

There is a mirror on the moon put there by one of the Apollo missions, you can bounce a laser off it.

Oh and if it was faked they wen to a hell of a job, they routed a TV signal from space to Australia, how the hell do you fake that?

That there has been a cure for cancer for years but the governments don’t release it so the pharmaceutical companies can carry on making millions from the sale of chemo etc

The problem with this theory, is that the idiots that believe it fail to realise that the term "cancer" covers a huge range of illnesses, with many different causes.

Yes there is no reason to fake that. But he has lied so many times that he is an easy target for conspiracy theories.

Surely a cancer cure makes the big pharmas loads of dosh too. Probably more profitable than chemo

I've spoken to a few people who aren't thrilled about getting a booster as their second jab was pretty rough. I can see why people might not want to get a booster but i think for a politician like Boris it would be a big risk to take to lie about it as he has a high probability of being found out of he travels abroad.

Oh I’ve never heard this before. Both my husband and I are Swedish and have been to Finland many times.. I can’t wait to bring this up later! We have some friends from Finland who are now living in Stockholm and they are coming over later.

Someone I know read something somewhere about cancer cells splitting forever and was then convinced that meant cancer cells were immortal cells and chemo was to stop us realising we can become immortal 🙃

Not really a conspiracy theory but another great idea on life is that we never experience death we just hop into another dimension where we survived so to others we die but we just carry on. Which sounds like a great idea until you realise what happened to the you that was already in that body 😬 🤣

My favourite conspiracy theory is blue paper towel. Primary schools all over the UK use it to heal a myriad of complaints, from headaches to paper cuts and terrible falls. There’s nothing much a blue paper towel can’t cure (wetting the towel increases its potency).
Why aren’t we using more blue paper towel in wider society? The NHS could be saved!

One poster mentioned thinking 9/11 was an illusion. People have told me that before. I used to get upset because I lost a friend in there and one friend witnessed it. So when people literally think it was made for TV, I just remember my friend being buried and his parents being so broken....just how people can think that is beyond me.

But as ever, it's a spectrum. I saw an article from a few years back that's like the inverted triangle someone posted; it said "if they think Britney is being controlled, they're mentally ill".

I didn't pay attention to celeb stuff - do like her music - but those people
were right.
