No sleeping going on over here as I just can't stop myself from getting into the chocolates and hot cocoa.
Find attached a very Christmasy Father Christmas sock...AK, is it yours, too? 😂I found it at an estate sale about 6 months back...I always go right before the sellers close down because the prices are so much better on all the lovely junky tacky stuff I need covet the leftover items are usually thrown away or donated to a clearing house...I saw Franceska's lovingly handmade stocking and just couldn't leave it😂...No telling how old it is, but Fran died at almost 90 and the little embellishments look like they come from nursery rhymes, so I'd imagine she was a wee girl when it was made for her. That little square thing hanging at the bottom of the tree is a little container for perfume, I think...I unscrewed the top and took a big sniff but didn't smell anything... It just occurred to me that it could have been a little cremation container where a relative's ashes were held instead of perfume container 😳Xmas Shock

BTW, Fran was from Italy and met the captain of a cruise ship that was in port in an Italian city, they fell in love, got married, and cruised all around until he retired to the US...the end

I thought so, @Santapankitoo...she loved cats and had lots of cat paintings and many themed items...t
Fran and the captain made a lovely couple .. there was also a photo of them with a president, or king or prime minister ...I can't honestly remember but I was duly impressed...
Does anyone know somebody who might know Fran in real life?

@TheHOHOHOnlyMrsM yes, its very sad to see the treasures that family members don't care about when a person passes...I guess a lot of times they fight over things that are worth monetary value only not family heirlooms with sentimental valve😥
Those items always end up at SP's house 😂
