Speaking of naice ham....DS has just put up a trail camera and 2 nights ago it caught sight of a wild pig! I guess we can another species to the wild animals seen in SPs DSs garden...the turkeys are hiding since Christmas is near.🐗🦃

So I name changed not for this thread, just in general and wanted a nice wintery name, but I'm just realising that it makes me sound like a Christmas version of one of the Spice Girls!

Talking of deer, the DCs' much loved stuffed Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer head is now up above the fireplace once again. It sings a selection of Christmas songs and is very tasteful. Actually, the songs are tinny and very annoying

Good news! You will be able to use real ermine on those leaping suits...we have a box of my MILS furry attire from the 1920s that I'm sure she'd be pleased as punch to have recycled for such a worthy production...they might be a bit dusty, but that will just add to their authenticity
