That's a beauty, @Santapankitoo and I know it's yours because I can see Boris, Billy and Russell in the background! But where is the tasteful Lametta? And where is 'that' coffee table?

My mum needed a NC for Christmas since it's her favourite season...but alas, she's not on MN.....whilst visiting her, I was encouraged forced to install at least 4 billion fairy lights in the front and back gardens and also in the house...and at least 4 thousand red bows atop the fence posts, outdoor lights, her post box, basically anything that didn't run away...these photos attached are at the very beginning of the decorating bonanza so I didn't get photos at the end.
She had a billion decs in the loft since every year instead of pulling out the previous years decs, she'd just go buy more😂..I decided to go in the loft and pull them ALL out...I found some real gems...several strings of lights from my parents first Christmas in 1952, ratty looking lametta, n old handmade Christmas card I'd made for my DSis in 1962... I guess they could be considered mid-century modern..
Oh and let's not forget all the lighted figures sprouting from the gardens, i.e. 3 reindeer, a giant star, 2 nativity sets etc, etc, etc.
She's giving Clarke Griswold a run for his money

Note the lovely handmade Christmas cards from 1962. Btw, the Christmas socks are not in the least bit outing....no one in our family is named Tanya nor Joey...we found all these stockings at a charity shop for $2.99 each and couldn't just leave them there...they are a great conversation starter with holiday visitors...after the initial greetings they say, :who are Tanya and Joey?"

Oh, how could I have forgotten to mention the bells attached all over the place? Hanging from light fixtures, doorknobs, arbour etc

My goodness, we could see and hear mom's decorations from outer space!!!

The coffee table is being reinforced...AGAIN.

I seem to have lost one of my stockings. It did have Santa on it .

@TheHOHOHOnlyMrsM...yes, the international space station has rung her up and asked her to tone it down a bit as her lights are blinding the astronauts

@Santapankitoo yes, I can attest to her huge collection by how many trips to the loft I had to make to retrieve it. And almost everything is from the last century and not made in China, so the quality is so much better than what can be purchased now...whilst I was putting up the decs she'd think of something else she wanted to add to her display so we'd head to the shops...we'd look at what they had and I'd say, "mum, you have better at home!" So up into the loft I'd go and sure enough I'd find something better. She had no idea what she had because with her being 90years old, she'd not been in the loft in over 20 years! A neighbour boy would put the stuff in the loft for her after the season, so things were spread all akimbo about the loft...it looked like a Christmas decs graveyard!

@Santapankitoo..that man cut out is none other than the amazingly funny Chevy Chase from the film CHRISTMAS VACATION. If you've not seen it, I highly recommend it for Christmas viewing...the resemblance to the SweetPeas family is just a coincidence, I promise.
He is not in my mum's garden, but a neighbour's who loves to decorate for Christmas almost as much as mum.

We have a cupboard here . I threw out the Millennium decorations in 2019. They were purple.

I do have a lovely large lilac paper bell and a white paper snowflake. They are old fashioned but about 15 years old .

And a lilac bell? One of my favourite colours, as you know and Don't even think about tossing it nor that white snowflake.
I'm envious of your decoration cupboard...it would've saved me at least 10000 steps at my mum's.
